My own diet is sometimes inconsistent, but here is what I'm trying to stick to:
After amritvela - lots of water and badhaam
After-nap breakfast - daal/rajma with parshada or praunthey
Lunch - bread/sandwhiches/etc
Afternoon/evening - fruits, nuts, smoothies, healthy pudding, nut cookies, milk, etc
It's not difficult to keep up a simple bibeki diet if you spend a few hours every weekend preparing. It's very useful to know how to make bread, and even daal is very simple to make!
