It is very sad that the "Panthic" Jathedaars gave Surinder Singh, Dera leader of Kahna Dhesian where Hans Raj Hans sang songs and Sangat danced in Guru Jee's Hazooree, a "Thankhaah" of 21 Japji Sahibs. The Akal Takht Jathedar, Giani Gurbachan Singh, said that the Kahna Dhesian Dera made a "unintentional" mistake and there has never been any beadbi or anti-Gurmat parchaar there before, on the contrary the Dera has promoted Gurmat so thats why the Tankhaah is 21 Japji Sahibs. When Surinder Singh left Akaal Takht Sahib, his followers around him did loud Jaikaare as if they had won a victory. I have been told that Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnaalaa (Damdami Taksaal) and Singhs had a running with the Saadh and his followers as they were clearly insulting Gurmat.
My head lowers in shame and disgust that a Dera which says "Dhan Dhan Satguru Tarlokh Singh" and "Dhan Dhan Satguru Gurmail Singh" on the Gurdwara walls and Pind da Darvaajaa next to the Gurdwara is apparently promoting Gurmat. Have the Jathedaars of the Panth forgotten what Gurmat is?
The first Dera Baba who claimed to be Satguru was called Tarlokh Singh, his son Gurmail Singh succeeded him. After his death a few years ago, his son, a local Congress politican, took the "gurgaddi".
