Waaheguru Jis gender?

Many times we see the Kirtam names of Waaheguru in Gurbani have an aunkad indicating the word is Masculine and singular. We have even heard that all names of God in Gurbani are masculine. Why is this so since Waaheguru has many feminine qualities. Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh Ji mentions how Waaheguru is referred to both as Pita ( masculine ) and Mata ( feminine) so he has no gender. Bhai Vir Singh Ji also mentions he is beyond gender, so then why do the kirtam names in Gurbani have an aunkad to suggest he is masculine. Besides the appearance of prepositions or the fact that the name is being addressed to they all names of Gurbani have an aunkad.

Since Waaheguru is neither female or male are there any Kirtam Names in Gurbani in which the gender Is neutral. Professor Sahib Singh Ji mentions in Punjabi and Prakrati there are 2 genders ( masculine and feminine) but in Sanskrit there is an addition gender which is neutral. Are their any examples in Gurbani where Waaheguru has been given a neutral gender and if so is the word mukhta or does it include aunkad? We remember reading somewhere that many of the names in Gurbani include both feminine and masculine words within a word such as Go-BInd, Go-Paal.

You have answered the question yourself. In Sanskrit, there are three genders and the third one being Napunsak i.e. neither male nor female but when the nouns with Napunsak gender came into Punjabi, they came in as masculine.

As for referring to Vaheguru jee as Masculine and even when saying that He is our Mata, the pronoun used is Masculine - Tu hai Mera Maata...

This is what pleased our Guru Sahib that Vaheguru jee be referred to as Masculine despite Him being neither male nor female.

No doubt the "Go" in Gobind and Gopal is feminine but the words overall are masculine.
