Recently Daas came across a video called “Nihaal Fest” which was held in month of April-2012 at Delhi on occasion of Vaisakhi. The 5 hour video had one very interesting message by S. Jarnail Singh Jee (pardon me if I got the name incorrect), which daas has tried to summarize below.
Sikh’s Jeevan is Anand.Getting birth in Human form is the result of good Karmas. But taking birth in Sikh family or inheriting Sikhi by birth is result of extremely good Karmas.
Yet, getting Amrit or Khande Ki Pahul is the result of zenith of good Karmas. In other words these are the Karmas which transforms into Anand and give rise to a new Life blessed by Amrit. Hence, Sikh’s life is nothing but Anand, Anand and Anand. The Anand given by Guru Maharaaj to His Sikh is such an exclusive Metaphysical phenomenon that there is neither Synonym of word Anand nor there is Antonym of word Anand. None but the Sikh alone gets the blessing to experience Anandful Jeevan.
There is no marriage for Sikh but Guru Maharaaj has blessed His Sikh with Anand Karaj. The bani of Sri Anand Sahib is recited while preparing Amrit and it is also included in Sikh’s Nitnem. No samagam or deevan is complete without bhog of Sri Anand Sahib. The Guru Maharaaj blessed Sikhs with homeland of Sri Anandpur Sahib.
Now, Sri Anandpur Sahib has 5 forts namely, Anandgarh Fort, Keshgarh Fort, Fatehgarh Fort, Lohgarh Fort and Holgarh Fort. These 5 forts symbolizes Anand, Kesh, Victory, Iron and Colour. History tells that, at any time in any war, Sri Kalgidhar Dasmesh Pita Jee was never forced to leave Anandgarh Fort / Sri Anandpur Sahib until and unless the Fort of Keshgarh Sahib was captured.
So, what does this means ?
This means that even if the Colours of life are gone from Sikh’s Jeevan but still Guru Maharaaj will bless that Sikh with Anand.
This means that even if the Iron (power or authority) of a Sikh is lost but still Guru Maharaaj will bless that Sikh with Anand.
This means that even if the Victory (achievements) in life is gone from Sikh’s Jeevan but still Guru Maharaaj will bless that Sikh with Anand.
Finally, this means that once the KESH is gone from Sikh’s Life then at the same time Anand is also gone from Sikh’s Life. The Jeevan is no more Anand !
Let us start the year 2013 with this beautiful message and make the fallen Sikhs understand why the Anand is gone from their Jeevan. Let us enlighten the upcoming generation the source of Anand by this beautiful message.
