ਸਚੈ ਜਗਤੁ ਡਹਕਾਇਆ ਕਹਣਾ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ सचै जगतु डहकाइआ कहणा कछू न जाइ ॥ Sacẖai jagaṯ dahkā▫i▫ā kahṇā kacẖẖū na jā▫e. The True Lord has fooled the world - no one has any say in this at all.
ਨਾਨਕ ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਉ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਰਜਾਇ ॥੫॥੭॥੯॥ नानक जो तिसु भावै सो करे जिउ तिस की रजाइ ॥५॥७॥९॥ Nānak jo ṯis bẖāvai so kare ji▫o ṯis kī rajā▫e. ||5||7||9|| O Nanak, He does whatever He pleases, according to His Will. ||5||7||9||

This is the real technique the game of life is going on.
But simutaneously there is a message how to avoid from
being FOOLED and that message is the only option as

ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥

But this is also possible thru the grace of True LORD only.

So let every one understand as "SAB KHEL TUMAATEE"

Thank-you...so I understand Guru Ji's Hukam to be immerse ourselves in Gurbani, while also remembering all is His game??
Which makes sense then that Guru Ji also reminds that all is not hopeless, as He is very merciful, so if we live in His fear, and do sewa (svaas svaas Naam Simran/ Shabad Gurbani praises of Him), His game could be in our favor?
Sadly though, most Sikhs today take His game to mean we can simply drown in world..to where we cannot even do bhagti in Gurdwaras because it is more like a socialising venue..so the Lord has indeed fooled the world?
