ਆਧਾਰੋ - ਅਧਾਰੁ !!

1) ਸਾਚਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਧਾਰੋ ॥

ਆਧਾਰੋ = ਆਸਰਾ।
(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ (ਬਣ ਗਿਆ) ਹੈ।


ਸਾਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਭੁਖਾ ਸਭਿ ਗਵਾਈਆ ॥

ਜਿਨਿ = ਜਿਸ (ਨਾਮ) ਨੇ। ਭੁਖ = ਲਾਲਚ।
ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ) ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ (ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ) ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।



Seems both the words ਆਧਾਰੋ - ਅਧਾਰੁ mean the same (ਆਸਰਾ) although one (KANNA) is missing in the second one. Is there a Grammer reason for it ?

ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਏਹੁ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਹੈ ਆਨੰਦੁ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਜਾਣਿਆ ॥੭॥

ਏਹੁ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਹੈ = ਅਸਲ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਇਹ ਹੈ (ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਖਰ੍ਹਵਾ ਤੇ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਆਦਿਕ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ) ॥੭॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸਲ ਆਨੰਦ ਇਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਇਹ ਆਨੰਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੭॥


KANNA is missing in the first occurrence of ਅਨੰਦੁ || is there any gramme significance to it ? This is the first PAURI where it has come up a KANNA.


Is that where ever it means Actually Name of bani (ਅਨੰਦੁ) its without KANNA, as the name of the bani is "ਅਨੰਦੁ".

Seems like, the hora is there for the metre (maatra) and for Alankaarik reasons. Same way ਆਨੰਦੁ and ਅਨੰਦੁ also mean the same but are spelled differently for Maatra and Alankaarik reasons.

Alankaar means ornaments. Ornaments are used by worldly people to make themselves look beautiful. Same way, the ornaments used in poetry are for Shingaar reasons. Using Sikhda instead of Sikh, and Aadhaaro instead of Aadhaar, sometimes, makes the Pankiti sweeter.

But we must pronounce them differently doing PAATH,Correct (as they are spelled) ? So means they need to be remembered by heart.
