ਢਢੰਕੰਤ ਢੋਲੰ ॥ ਬਬੰਕੰਤ ਬੋਲੰ ॥ ਉਛੰਕੰਤ ਤਾਜੀ ॥ ਗਜੰਕੰਤ ਗਾਜੀ ॥੧੮੯॥
ढढंकंत ढोलं ॥ बबंकंत बोलं ॥ उछंकंत ताजी ॥ गजंकंत गाजी ॥१८९॥
The drums sounded, the horses swung and the warriors thundered.189.

ਛੁਟੰਕੰਤ ਤੀਰੰ ॥ ਬਬੰਕੰਤ ਬੀਰੰ ॥ ਢਲੰਕੰਤ ਢਾਲੰ ॥ ਉਠੰਕੰਤ ਤਾਲੰ ॥੧੯੦॥
छुटंकंत तीरं ॥ बबंकंत बीरं ॥ ढलंकंत ढालं ॥ उठंकंत तालं ॥१९०॥
The thundering warriors discharged arrows, their shields were raised and the rhythmic sound was heard.190.

ਖਿਮੰਕੰਤ ਖੱਗੰ ॥ ਧਧੰਕੰਤ ਧੱਗੰ ॥ ਛੁਟੰਕੰਤ ਨਾਲੰ ॥ ਉਠੰਕੰਤ ਜ੍ਵਾਲੰ ॥੧੯੧॥
खिमंकंत ख्गं ॥ धधंकंत ध्गं ॥ छुटंकंत नालं ॥ उठंकंत ज्वालं ॥१९१॥
The daggers glistened, the flaming fires blazed and the flames rose high.191.

ਬਹੰਤੰਤ ਘਾਯੰ ॥ ਝਲੰਕੰਤ ਚਾਯੰ ॥ ਡਿਗੰਤੰਤ ਬੀਰੰ ॥ ਭਿਗੰਤੰਤ ਭੀਰੰ ॥੧੯੨॥
बहंतंत घायं ॥ झलंकंत चायं ॥ डिगंतंत बीरं ॥ भिगंतंत भीरं ॥१९२॥
The blood oozed out from the wounds, which demonstrated the zeal of the warriors; they ran and fell in the multitude.192.

ਟੁਟੰਦੰਤ ਖੋਲੰ ॥ ਢਮੰਕੰਤ ਢੋਲੰ ॥ ਟੁਟੰਕੰਤ ਤਾਲੰ ॥ ਨਚੰਤੰਤ ਬਾਲੰ ॥੧੯੩॥
टुटंदंत खोलं ॥ ढमंकंत ढोलं ॥ टुटंकंत तालं ॥ नचंतंत बालं ॥१९३॥
The helmets broke, the drums sounded and the heavenly damsels danced in consonance with the tune.193.

ਗਿਰੰਤੰਤ ਅੰਗੰ ॥ ਕਟੰਤੰਤ ਜੰਗੰ ॥ ਚਲੰਤੰਤ ਤੀਰੰ ॥ ਭਟੰਕੰਤ ਭੀਰੰ ॥੧੯੪॥
गिरंतंत अंगं ॥ कटंतंत जंगं ॥ चलंतंत तीरं ॥ भटंकंत भीरं ॥१९४॥
The limbs were chopped, they fell down and because of the discharged arrows, the warriors were tossed about violently.194.

ਜੁਝੰਤੰਤ ਵੀਰੰ ॥ ਭਜੰਤੰਤ ਭੀਰੰ ॥ ਕਰੰਤੰਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਹੰ ॥ ਭਰੰਤੰਤ ਰੋਹੰ ॥੧੯੫॥
जुझंतंत वीरं ॥ भजंतंत भीरं ॥ करंतंत क्रोहं ॥ भरंतंत रोहं ॥१९५॥
The warriors fought bravely and the cowards ran away; the heroic fighters were filled with anger and malice.195.

ਤਜੰਤੰਤ ਤੀਰੰ ॥ ਭਜੰਤੰਤ ਭੀਰੰ ॥ ਬਹੰਤੰਤ ਘਾਯੰ ॥ ਝਲੰਤੰਤ ਜਾਯੰ ॥੧੯੬॥
तजंतंत तीरं ॥ भजंतंत भीरं ॥ बहंतंत घायं ॥ झलंतंत जायं ॥१९६॥
With the discharge of the arrows, the cowards ran away and the zeal was exhibited by the oozing wounds.196.

ਤਤੰਕੰਤ ਅੰਗੰ ॥ ਜੁਟੰਕੰਤ ਜੰਗੰ ॥ ਉਲੰਥੰਤ ਲੁਥੰ ॥ ਪਲੰਥਤ ਜੁੱਥੰ ॥੧੯੭॥
ततंकंत अंगं ॥ जुटंकंत जंगं ॥ उलंथंत लुथं ॥ पलंथत जु्थं ॥१९७॥
The limbs and corpses of the warriors engaged in war fell up and down.197.

ਢਲੰਕੰਤ ਢਾਲੰ ॥ ਪੁਅੰਤੰਤ ਮਾਲੰ ॥ ਨਚੰਤੰਤ ਈਸੰ ॥ ਕਟੰਤੰਤ ਸੀਸੰ ॥੧੯੮॥
ढलंकंत ढालं ॥ पुअंतंत मालं ॥ नचंतंत ईसं ॥ कटंतंत सीसं ॥१९८॥
The shields gleamed and seeing the chopped heads, Shiva began to dance and wear the rosaries of skulls.198.


ਉਛੰਕੰਤ ਤਾਜੀ ॥ ਬਹੰਤੰਤ ਗਾਜੀ ॥ ਲੁਟੰਤੰਤ ਲੁੱਥੰ ॥ ਕਟੰਤੰਤ ਮੁੱਖੰ ॥੧੯੯॥
उछंकंत ताजी ॥ बहंतंत गाजी ॥ लुटंतंत लु्थं ॥ कटंतंत मु्खं ॥१९९॥
The horses sprang and the warriors seeing the corpses and chopped heads got pleased.199.

ਤਪੰਤੰਤ ਤੇਗੰ ॥ ਚਮੰਕੰਤ ਬੇਗੰ ॥ ਨਚੇ ਮੁੰਡ ਮਾਲੀ ॥ ਹਸੇ ਤੱਤਕਾਲੀ ॥੨੦੦॥
तपंतंत तेगं ॥ चमंकंत बेगं ॥ नचे मुंड माली ॥ हसे त्तकाली ॥२००॥
The swords saturated with hot blood glistened and Shiva danced and laughed.200.

ਜੁਟੰਤੰਤ ਵੀਰੰ ॥ ਛੁਟੰਤੰਤ ਤੀਰੰ ॥ ਬਰੰਤੰਤ ਬਾਲੰ ॥ ਢਲੰਤੰਤ ਢਾਲੰ ॥੨੦੧॥
जुटंतंत वीरं ॥ छुटंतंत तीरं ॥ बरंतंत बालं ॥ ढलंतंत ढालं ॥२०१॥
The warriors, getting together, began to discharge arrows and taking their gleaming shields they began to wed the heavenly damsels.201.

ਸੁਮੰਤੰਤ ਮੱਦੰ ॥ ਉਠੈ ਸੱਦ ਗੱਦੰ ॥ ਕਟੰਤੰਤ ਅੰਗੰ ॥ ਗਿਰਤੰਤ ਜੰਗੰ ॥੨੦੨॥
सुमंतंत म्दं ॥ उठै स्द ग्दं ॥ कटंतंत अंगं ॥ गिरतंत जंगं ॥२०२॥
The intoxicated sound is rising from all the four sides and the chopped limbs are falling down in the battlefield.202.

ਚਲੰਤੰਤ ਚਾਯੰ ॥ ਜੁਝੰਤੰਤ ਜਾਯੰ ॥ ਰਣੰਕੰਤ ਨਾਦੰ ॥ ਬਜੰਤੰਤ ਬਾਦੰ ॥੨੦੩॥
चलंतंत चायं ॥ जुझंतंत जायं ॥ रणंकंत नादं ॥ बजंतंत बादं ॥२०३॥
The warriors are fighting with each other with great zeal and the musical instruments are being and played in the battlefield.203.

ਪੁਅੰਤੰਤ ਪਤ੍ਰੀ ॥ ਲਗੰਤੰਤ ਅਤ੍ਰੀ ॥ ਬਜੰਤੰਤ ਅਤ੍ਰੰ ॥ ਜੁਝੰਤੰਤ ਛਤ੍ਰੰ ॥੨੦੪॥
पुअंतंत पत्री ॥ लगंतंत अत्री ॥ बजंतंत अत्रं ॥ जुझंतंत छत्रं ॥२०४॥
The tips of the arms and weapons are entering the bodies and the Kshatriyas are striking their arms and weapons in the battlefield.204.

ਗਿਰੰਤੰਤ ਭੂਮੀ ॥ ਉਠੰਤੰਤ ਝੂਮੀ ॥ ਰਟੰਤੰਤ ਪਾਨੰ ॥ ਜੁਝੰਤੰਤ ਜੁਆਨੰ ॥੨੦੫॥
गिरंतंत भूमी ॥ उठंतंत झूमी ॥ रटंतंत पानं ॥ जुझंतंत जुआनं ॥२०५॥
The warriors falling on the earth and then swinging up and fighting are shouting for water.205.

ਚਲੰਤੰਤ ਬਾਣੰ ॥ ਰੁਕੰਤੰਤ ਦਿਸਾਣੰ ॥ ਗਿਰੰਤੰਤ ਬੀਰੰ ॥ ਭਜੰਤੰਤ ਭੀਰੰ ॥੨੦੬॥
चलंतंत बाणं ॥ रुकंतंत दिसाणं ॥ गिरंतंत बीरं ॥ भजंतंत भीरं ॥२०६॥
The directions have disappeared by the discharge of arrows; the warriors are falling and the cowards are running away.206.

ਨਚੰਤੰਤ ਈਸੰ ॥ ਪੁਅੰਤੰਤ ਸੀਸੰ ॥ ਬਜੰਤੰਤ ਲਉਰੂ ॥ ਭ੍ਰਮੰਤੰਤ ਭਉਰੂ ॥੨੦੭॥
नचंतंत ईसं ॥ पुअंतंत सीसं ॥ बजंतंत लउरू ॥ भ्रमंतंत भउरू ॥२०७॥
Shiva while dancing and playing his tabor is roaming and wearing the rosaries of skulls.207.

ਨਚੰਤੰਤ ਬਾਲੰ ॥ ਤੁਟੰਤੰਤ ਤਾਲੰ ॥ ਮਚੰਤੰਤ ਵੀਰੰ ॥ ਭਜੰਤੰਤ ਭੀਰੰ ॥੨੦੮॥
नचंतंत बालं ॥ तुटंतंत तालं ॥ मचंतंत वीरं ॥ भजंतंत भीरं ॥२०८॥
The heavenly damsels are dancing and with the dreadful fighting by warriors and running away by the cowards, there is a break in the tune.208.

ਲਗੰਤੰਤ ਬਾਣੰ ॥ ਢਹੰਤੰਤ ਜੁਆਣੰ ॥ ਕਟੰਤੰਤ ਅੱਧੰ ॥ ਭਟੰਤੰਤ ਬੱਧੰ ॥੨੦੯॥
लगंतंत बाणं ॥ ढहंतंत जुआणं ॥ कटंतंत अधं ॥ भटंतंत ब्धं ॥२०९॥
The warriors fall on being struck by the arrows and the headless trunks of the warriors are being chopped through the middle.209.

ਖਹੰਤੰਤ ਖੂਨੀ ॥ ਚੜੈ ਚਉਪ ਦੂਨੀ ॥ ਬਹੰਤੰਤ ਅਤ੍ਰੰ ॥ ਕਟੰਤੰਤ ਛਤ੍ਰੰ ॥੨੧੦॥
खहंतंत खूनी ॥ चड़ै चउप दूनी ॥ बहंतंत अत्रं ॥ कटंतंत छत्रं ॥२१०॥
The blood-spilling warriors are fighting with double zeal and with the blows of the arms, the canopies of the warriors being cut down, are falling.210.

ਬਹੰਤੰਤ ਪੱਤ੍ਰੀ ॥ ਜੁਝੰਤੰਤ ਅੱਤ੍ਰੀ ॥ ਹਿਣੰਕੰਤ ਤਾਜੀ ॥ ਕਣੰਛੰਤ ਗਾਜੀ ॥੨੧੧॥
बहंतंत प्त्री ॥ जुझंतंत अत्री ॥ हिणंकंत ताजी ॥ कणंछंत गाजी ॥२११॥
The tips of the striking arms are piercing the bodies; the horses are neighing and the warriors are thundering.211.

ਤੁਤੰਤੰਤ ਚਰਮੰ ॥ ਕਟੰਤੰਤ ਬਰਮੰ ॥ ਗਿਰੰਤੰਤ ਭੂਮੀ ॥ ਉਠੰਤੰਤ ਘੂਮੀ ॥੨੧੨॥
तुतंतंत चरमं ॥ कटंतंत बरमं ॥ गिरंतंत भूमी ॥ उठंतंत घूमी ॥२१२॥
The shields and the armours are being cut; the warriors are falling on the earth and getting up while swinging.212.

ਰਟੰਤੰਤ ਪਾਨੰ ॥ ਕਟੰਤੰਤ ਜੁਆਨੰ ॥ ਉਡੰਤੰਤ ਏਕੰ ॥ ਗਡੰਤੰਤ ਨੇਕੰ ॥੨੧੩॥
रटंतंत पानं ॥ कटंतंत जुआनं ॥ उडंतंत एकं ॥ गडंतंत नेकं ॥२१३॥
The hands have fought with hands; the young soldiers being chopped and the arrows, flying numerously are being planted in the bodies.213.

ढ्रणणणि ढालं ॥ ज्रणणण ज्वालं ॥५३३॥
The shields were slipping down and the fires blzed.533.

ਖ੍ਰਣਣਿਣ ਖੋਲੰ ॥ ਬ੍ਰਣਣਣਿ ਬੋਲੰ ॥ ਕ੍ਰਣਣਿਣ ਰੋਸੰ ॥ ਜ੍ਰਣਣਿਣ ਜੋਸੰ ॥੫੩੪॥
ख्रणणिण खोलं ॥ ब्रणणणि बोलं ॥ क्रणणिण रोसं ॥ ज्रणणिण जोसं ॥५३४॥
The helmets were knocked and the wounds were caused, the warriors were infuriated and their zeal grew.534.

ਬ੍ਰਣਣਿਣ ਬਾਜੀ ॥ ਤ੍ਰਿਣਣਿਣ ਤਾਜੀ ॥ ਜ੍ਰਣਣਿਣ ਜੂਝੇ ॥ ਲ੍ਰਣਣਿਣ ਲੂਝੇ ॥੫੩੫॥
ब्रणणिण बाजी ॥ त्रिणणिण ताजी ॥ ज्रणणिण जूझे ॥ ल्रणणिण लूझे ॥५३५॥
The fast-moving horses began to run and the warriors obtained salvation after severe fighting.535.

ਹਰਣਿਣ ਹਾਥੀ ॥ ਸਰਣਿਣ ਸਾਥੀ ॥ ਭਰਣਿਣ ਭਾਜੇ ॥ ਲਰਣਿਣ ਲਾਜੇ ॥੫੩੬॥
हरणिण हाथी ॥ सरणिण साथी ॥ भरणिण भाजे ॥ लरणिण लाजे ॥५३६॥
The elephants ran like deer and the warriors took refuge with their comrades; the enemies ran and felt shy of fighting.536.

ਚਰਣਿਣ ਚਰਮੰ ॥ ਬਰਣਿਣ ਬਰਮੰ ॥ ਕਰਣਿਣ ਕਾਟੇ ॥ ਬਰਣਿਣ ਬਾਟੇ ॥੫੩੭॥
चरणिण चरमं ॥ बरणिण बरमं ॥ करणिण काटे ॥ बरणिण बाटे ॥५३७॥
The bodies and the armours were cut, the ears and eyes were amputated.537.


ਮਰਣਣ ਮਾਰੇ ॥ ਤਰਣਣ ਤਾਰੇ ॥ ਜਰਣਣ ਜੀਤਾ ॥ ਸਰਣਣ ਸੀਤਾ ॥੫੩੮॥
मरणण मारे ॥ तरणण तारे ॥ जरणण जीता ॥ सरणण सीता ॥५३८॥
The warriors breathed their last and ferried across the world-ocean, some were burnt in the fire of ire and took rufuge.538.

ਗਰਣਣ ਗੈਣੰ ॥ ਅਰਣਣ ਐਣੰ ॥ ਹਰਣਣ ਹੂਰੰ ॥ ਪਰਣਣ ਪੂਰੰ ॥੫੩੯॥
गरणण गैणं ॥ अरणण ऐणं ॥ हरणण हूरं ॥ परणण पूरं ॥५३९॥
The gods moved in their air-vehicles and saw the scene; the heavenly damsels wandered and began to wed the warriors.539.

ਬਰਣਣ ਬਾਜੇ ॥ ਗਰਣਣ ਗਾਜੇ ॥ ਸਰਣਣ ਸੁੱਝੇ ॥ ਜਰਣਣ ਜੁੱਝੇ ॥੫੪੦॥
बरणण बाजे ॥ गरणण गाजे ॥ सरणण सु्झे ॥ जरणण जु्झे ॥५४०॥
Various types of musical instruments resounded and the elephants thundered; the warriors took refuge while some began to fight.,540.

त्त तीरं ॥ ब्ब बीरं ॥ढ्ल ढालं ॥ ज्ज जुआलं ॥५४१॥
The arrows began to kill warriors and the fire came out of the shelds.541.

ਤੱਜ ਤਾਜੀ ॥ ਗੱਗ ਗਾਜੀ ॥ ਮੱਮ ਮਾਰੇ ॥ ਤੱਤ ਤਾਰੇ ॥੫੪੨॥
त्ज ताजी ॥ ग्ग गाजी ॥ म्म मारे ॥ त्त तारे ॥५४२॥
The horses began to run and the warriors began to roar; they began to kill one another and ferry across the worls-ocean.542.

ਜੱਜ ਜੀਤੇ ॥ ਲੱਲ ਲੀਤੇ ॥ ਤੱਤ ਤੋਰੇ ॥ ਛੱਛ ਛੋਰੇ ॥੫੪੩॥
ज्ज जीते ॥ ल्ल लीते ॥ त्त तोरे ॥ छ्छ छोरे ॥५४३॥
After gaining victory in war, the enemies were being made allies, the cleavage was caused amongst the warriors and they were also being forsaken.543.

ਰੱਰ ਰਾਜੰ ॥ ਗੱਗ ਗਾਜੰ ॥ ਧੱਧ ਧਾਯੰ ॥ ਚੱਚ ਚਾਯੰ ॥੫੪੪॥
्रर राजं ॥ ग्ग गाजं ॥ ध्ध धायं ॥ च्च चायं ॥५४४॥
The king Ravana thundered violently and with great zeal marched forward.544.

ਡੱਡ ਡਿੱਗੇ ॥ ਭੱਭ ਭਿੱਗੇ ॥ ਸੱਸ ਸ੍ਰੋਣੰ ॥ ਤੱਤ ਤੋਣੰ ॥੫੪੫॥
ड्ड डि्गे ॥ भ्भ भि्गे ॥ स्स स्रोणं ॥ त्त तोणं ॥५४५॥
The warriors began to fall after being saturated with blood and th blood was flowing like water.545.

ਸੱਸ ਸਾਧੈਂ ॥ ਬੱਬ ਬਾਧੈਂ ॥ ਅੱਅ ਅੰਗੰ ॥ ਜੱਜ ਜੰਗੰ ॥੫੪੬॥
स्स साधैं ॥ ब्ब बाधैं ॥ अअ अंगं ॥ ज्ज जंगं ॥५४६॥
There is lot of discipline and lot of obstruction; the limbs are being chopped in the war. 546

ਕੱਕ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੰ ॥ ਜੱਜ ਜੋਧੰ ॥ ਘੱਘ ਘਾਏ ॥ ਧੱਧ ਧਾਏ ॥੫੪੭॥
क्क क्रोधं ॥ ज्ज जोधं ॥ घ्घ घाए ॥ ध्ध धाए ॥५४७॥
There is lot of discipline and lot of obstruction; the limbs are being chopped in the war.547.

ਹੱਹ ਹੂਰੰ ॥ ਪੱਪ ਪੂਰੰ ॥ ਗੱਗ ਗੈਣੰ ॥ ਅੱਅ ਐਣੰ ॥੫੪੮॥
ह्ह हूरं ॥ प्प पूरं ॥ ग्ग गैणं ॥ अअ ऐणं ॥५४८॥
The sky is becoming full of heavenly damsels.548.

ਬੱਬ ਬਾਣੰ ॥ ਤੱਤ ਤਾਣੰ ॥ ਛੱਛ ਛੋਰੈਂ ॥ ਜੱਜ ਜੋਰੈਂ ॥੫੪੯॥
ब्ब बाणं ॥ त्त ताणं ॥ छ्छ छोरैं ॥ ज्ज जोरैं ॥५४९॥
The warriors are pulling bows and discharging arrows.549.

ਬੱਬ ਬਾਜੇ ॥ ਗੱਗ ਗਾਜੇ ॥ ਭੱਭ ਭੂਮੰ ॥ ਝੱਝ ਝੂਮੰ ॥੫੫੦॥
ब्ब बाजे ॥ ग्ग गाजे ॥ भ्भ भूमं ॥ झ्झ झूमं ॥५५०॥
The musical instruments are resounding, the warriors are thundering and are falling on the ground after swinging.550.

The sky is torn with arrows and the eyes of the warriors are getting red;

ਢੱਕੇ ਢੋਲ ਢੁੱਕੀ ਢਾਲ ॥ ਛੁੱਟੈ ਬਾਨ ਉੱਠੈ ਜ੍ਵਾਲ ॥੫੫੧॥
ढ्के ढोल ढु्की ढाल ॥ छु्टै बान उठै ज्वाल ॥५५१॥
The knocking on the shields is being heard and the rising flames re being seen.551.

ਭਿੱਗੇ ਸ੍ਰੋਣਿ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਸੂਰ ॥ ਝੁੱਮੇ ਭੂਮਿ ਘੁੱਮੀ ਹੂਰ ॥
भि्गे स्रोणि डि्गे सूर ॥ झु्मे भूमि घु्मी हूर ॥
The warriors saturated with blood, are falling down on the earth and the heavenly damsels are roaming;

ਬੱਜੇ ਸੰਖ ਸੱਦੰ ਗੱਦ ॥ ਤਾਲੰ ਸੰਖ ਭੇਰੀ ਨੱਦ ॥੫੫੨॥
ब्जे संख स्दं ग्द ॥ तालं संख भेरी न्द ॥५५२॥
The sky is filled with the sounds of conches, other tunes and drums.552.

ਤੁੱਟੇ ਤ੍ਰਾਣ ਫੁੱਟੇ ਅੰਗ ॥ ਜੁੱਝੇ ਵੀਰ ਰੁੱਝੇ ਜੰਗਿ ॥

The armours of the warriors have been torn and they are fighting in the war;

ਮੱਚੇ ਸੂਰ ਨੱਚੀ ਹੂਰ ॥ ਮੱਤੀ ਧੁਮ ਭੂਮੀ ਪੂਰ ॥੫੫੩॥
म्चे सूर न्ची हूर ॥ म्ती धुम भूमी पूर ॥५५३॥
The brave fighters are confronting one another and the heavenly damsels are dancing; there is talk of war on the earth.553.

ਉੱਠੇ ਅੱਧ ਬੱਧ ਕਮੱਧ ॥ ਪੱਖਰ ਰਾਗ ਖੋਲ ਸਨੱਧ ॥
उठे अध ब्ध कम्ध ॥ प्खर राग खोल सन्ध ॥
The headless trunks arose in the war and were opening their gauzy armour;

ਛੱਕੇ ਛੋਭ ਛੁੱਟੇ ਕੇਸ ॥ ਸੰਘਰਿ ਸੂਰ ਸਿੰਘਨ ਭੇਸ ॥੫੫੪॥
छ्के छोभ छु्टे केस ॥ संघरि सूर सिंघन भेस ॥५५४॥
With garbs like lions the warriors are highly infuriated and their hair have loosened.554.

ਟੁੱਟਰ ਟੀਕ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਟੋਪ ॥ ਭੱਗੇ ਭੂਪ ਭੰਨੀ ਧੋਪ ॥
टु्टर टीक टु्टे टोप ॥ भ्गे भूप भंनी धोप ॥
The helmets have broken and the kings have fled away;

ਘੁੱਮੇ ਘਾਇ ਝੂਮੀ ਭੂਮਿ ॥ ਅਉਝੜ ਝਾੜ ਧੂਮੰ ਧੂਮ ॥੫੫੫॥
घु्मे घाइ झूमी भूमि ॥ अउझड़ झाड़ धूमं धूम ॥५५५॥
The warriors, having been wounded, are falling on the earth after swinging and with a bang they are falling.555.

ਬੱਜੇ ਨਾਦ ਬਾਦ ਅਪਾਰ ॥ ਸੱਜੇ ਸੂਰ ਵੀਰ ਜੁਝਾਰ ॥
ब्जे नाद बाद अपार ॥ स्जे सूर वीर जुझार ॥
The large trumpets have resounded and the bedecked warriors are being seen;

ਜੁੱਝੇ ਟੂਕ ਟੂਕ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਖੇਤਿ ॥ ਮੱਤੇ ਮੱਦ ਜਾਣੁ ਅਚੇਤ ॥੫੫੬॥
जु्झे टूक टूक ह्वै खेति ॥ म्ते म्द जाणु अचेत ॥५५६॥
They are dying in the war being chopped in bits and being intoxicated in war-frenzy, they are becoming unconscious.556.

ਛੁੱਟੇ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਨੰਤ ॥ ਰੰਗੇ ਰੰਗ ਭੂਮਿ ਦੁਰੰਤ ॥
छु्टे ससत्र असत्र अनंत ॥ रंगे रंग भूमि दुरंत ॥
Innumerable weapons and arms are being used and the earth is coloured with blood upto a great distance;

ਖੁੱਲੇ ਅੰਧ ਧੁੰਧ ਹਥਿਆਰ ॥ ਬੱਕੇ ਸੂਰ ਵੀਰ ਬਿਕ੍ਰਾਰ ॥੫੫੭॥
खु्ले अंध धुंध हथिआर ॥ ब्के सूर वीर बिक्रार ॥५५७॥
The weapons are being struck indiscreetly and the terrible warriors are shouting.557.

ਬਿਥੁਰੀ ਲੁੱਥ ਜੁੱਥ ਅਨੇਕ ॥ ਮੱਚੇ ਕੋਟਿ ਭੱਗੇ ਏਕ ॥
बिथुरी लु्थ जु्थ अनेक ॥ म्चे कोटि भ्गे एक ॥
The clusters of corpses are lying scattered; the warriors are engrossed in a horrible war on one side and on the other, some of them are running away.

ਹੱਸੇ ਭੂਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਮਸਾਣ ॥ ਲੁੱਝੇ ਜੁੱਝ ਰੁੱਝ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣ ॥੫੫੮॥
ह्से भूत प्रेत मसाण ॥ लु्झे जु्झ रु्झ क्रिपाण ॥५५८॥
The ghosts and friends are laughing in the cemeteries and here the brave fighters are fighting after receiving blows of swords.558.

Various sounds of musical instruments are resounding.

The loud noise of drums and the resounding of conches and trumpets is being heard in the battlefield.

The musical instruments of the warriors are being played and the ghosts and goblins are dancing.39.116.

Their beauty allures the lovers like falling in the well, wherefrom they can never come out; these heavenly damsels have also drowned themselves in the sexual love of the beautiful warriors.367.

The women are getting allured and there is brightness of their elegance; the warriors seeing them are playing on various kinds of musical instruments.368.

The sky is filled with heavenly damsels and they are all dancing.4.14.

The swords are gleaming quickly and they are striking with clattering sound.415.

जररड़ जोधं ॥ किररड़ क्रोधं ॥ जड़रड़ जूझै ॥ ल्रड़रड़ लूझै ॥४१६॥
The warriors are fighting in anger and are dying.416.

खररड़ खेतं ॥ अररड़ अचेतं ॥ ब्रड़रड़ बाजी ॥ गिरवड़ गाजी ॥४१७॥
The horses and horse-riders are lying unconscious in the battlefield.417.

The elephants are running away and in this way, the kings, because of the disgrace of defeat, are feeling ashamed.418.
