Very beautiful tribute to Siri Guru Dasmesh jee, in form of pure Urdu poem. Jogi Allah Yaar Khan has done a very commendable job. At some places, he has shown some Sidhantak (principles) ignorance but that can be ignored because he is not a Sikh. Such beautiful poetic tribute by a non-Sikh, particularly a Muslim, is very much appreciated by Gursikhs.

The poem has an amazing Ravaangi (flow) and the use of some of the most beautiful Urdu words make this poem even more enchanting. The meanings of difficult words on the right hand side page are very helpful for ones who are not that well-versed in Urdu.

Great effort, Bhai Jasjit Singh jeeo.

Kindly tell us how you scanned or photographed this book, for the benefit of other Gursikhs who may want to do this Sewa. Did you take photographs and then made a pdf file of it or did you do something else. Please provide detailed guidance.

Bhai Sahib Jio, daas absolutely did nothing for collecting this document except bringing to sangat's attention here. This document was sent to Daas by a Gurmukh Piyara ji. As far as the other technical things goes I think it is not a scanned original document rather typed in Gurmukhi on background of a book template. Anyway daas will try to find out details.

Here are some beautiful couplets:

Sahibzada Baba Jujhar Singh jee's Benti for martyrdom and Pita Guru jee's response (selected couplets):

(At that time, innocent son (Pisar) said)
(Allow us to go Pita jee, we will go to die)
(We don't want to live without our brother (Baba Ajit Singh)
(We don't want tosleep, eat and drink without him)

(When Guru jee heard his second son's Benti)
(He kissed his head and face, again and again)
(For dying, Pita jee said, go with full enthusiasm)
(Don't be disappointed, By God, we will not stop you)

Updesh to Sahibzada Baba Jujhar Singh jee (selected couplets):

(When the arrow hits your chest, don't utter see (ouch))
(O Meri Jaan, don't say uff (ouch) from your mouth)
(It's our wish we see you using the sword)
(May we see you with our eyes, enduring a spear wound)

The poem has been written from the heart. Great work by Jogi Allah Yaar Khan.

Vaah! Vaah! Vaah!

Subhaan! Subhaan! Subhaan!

Bahut Khoob!

Masha Allah!

Kurbaan! Kurbaan! Kurbaan!
