I have heard many sanghathan saying Aasaa Dee Vaar and some saying Aasaa Kee Vaar. Could anyone please shed some light on the proper pronunciation?

Bro Just call it Asa Dee Kee Vaar, thats what I do tongue sticking out smiley

Anyways Bani is Bani what we call it doesn't matter. We call Sri Sohila Jee, Keertan Sohila when there is not mention of Keertan in the Bani tittle.

This topic has been discussed before, using search feature would help you find answer. Bh. Kulbir Singh jee discovered that many old Saroops in the Tathkaraa (table of contents), this baani was written with ਕੀ and not ਦੀ. Plus other vaar's in Gurbanee use "Kee" as well (Sri Ramkali kee Vaar, Sri Jaitshree kee Vaar, Basant kee Vaar). It seems more shudh to use Kee.

What about Chandi Di Vaar? I have heard that the original title was not Chandi Di Vaar; instead Chandi Di Vaar
was considered as part of Chandi Charitars?
