Hell experienced by an Amritdhari Sikh?

Posted by jpsingh77
Sadh Sangat Ji,

This is one of the very few forums where the quality of posts reflect the spiritual maturity of most of the posters; hence I value the comments I read here.

Anyways, regarding this post, we all have read/heard about various accounts of hell experienced by non-amritdhari sikhs (for example in the book by Rama Singh Ji, suleiman ghost, etc.)

But has anyone heard/read about hell experinced by a rehatvan amritdhari sikh???
In this context, by "rehatvan amritdhari", I strictly mean Amritdhari sikh doing regular nitnem, wearing 5 kakkars and avoiding bujjar ku-rehits ONLY (not necessarily Sarbhloh, etc - no arguments on this pls!).

Disclaimer: I haven't read Andithi-Duniya (as I haven't been able to catch hold of the english translation!). So pls let me know if you have come across such a thing from that book or any other source!

Thanks in advance!

Dass,
JP

There is a Saakhi about Baba Sham Singh jee, written by Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee in one of his books. In Samadhi, Baba jee went to one of the hells, in Sooksham Sareer (Astral body). There he saw people being carried on camels and getting severely beaten. Baba jee asked one of the jamms as to why these people were being punished. The Jammdoot replied that these people while living in this world used to allow people to worship them and do Matha-tek to them and for acting as godmen or saviors they were being punished.

When Baba jee heard this, his Samadhi opened and it is said that from that day on, he never allowed anyone to Matha-tek to him. He was very strict about it. Please refer to the following link to read a story about Baba jee's matha-teking incident:

well veer ji this source is not from a SatGuroo jis gursikh. It was a book written by a Buddhist monk. But Dass feels like sharing some interesting stories from the book dass read when he was 11-12.

In school, had this Buddhist friend who passed me this book about the experience of a Taiwanese Buddhist Monk. The book was authored by the monk himself. One night when he sat in meditation, a demi-god(devi devta) approach him and told him that he would be touring the hell so that he can inform the people in the world to stop committing sins .

He will sit in meditation every night and the demi-god will come and take him to the "hell world". Dass remembers reading many interesting things which were indeed same with what Bhai Rama Singh ji wrote.
The yamas even allowed this monk to interview those being punished. Details like what type of punishment they are receiving for what sins they have committed. The interviews were recorded in the book.

The things that Chatrik recalls reading from the book:

1. When he reached the Dharam Raaj's court for the first time. Sinners are made to pesh infront of Dharam Raaj. There is this screen there. The whole life of an individual-from the time he is born till he dies is flashed on the screen in like 5-10 minutes he says. When he reached there, a man was being judged. A particular scene from his life was being shown there, where a girl was walking in farming fields. He pulled her, beat her and raped her. While scene was being shown the sinner started trembling in fear and the embarrassment of his black deed made him lower his head in Dharam Raajs courts.
Dharam Raaj grilled him, he was in the most terrible fear & he was yet to receive the adequate punishment for his sins!

2. The bodies of Kaami people are boiled in hot oil.

3. The monk also mentioned that, Buddhist monks who embezzled money which they collected from people for the purpose of Dharma were severely punished.
At the end of the book he made a point to say that in hell, people in religious garbs who committed sins are among the most severely punished in hell.

4. Yamas from the hell also informed the monk that, as technological advances are taking place in the world. Many new form of sins are coming into existence, hence they also have to create new form of punishments for sinners in hell. 2 examples, the the monk mentioned was that pornography & bank frauds.

5. Hell is so big that it took him 14 years(every night) to see every section .

Dont have the book anymore, forgot the title and author name. But, it did leave a lasting mark on me back then.

Moorakhpan di khimma bakshni ji....

What about people who have done sins and then later became religous and prayed each day? What type of punishments do they get? Or does Naam lessen their punishment?

Unjaan jeeo, thats interesting. I find it ironic that Buddha who was the epitome of non-violence would have followers believe in such a violent hell!

Very valid question, for which Dass (being maha-paapi) is also looking for answers...

In an earlier post, 1Kaur bhein Ji had raised a question about previous sins supposed to get washed off after taking amrit, but there was no clear-cut response to that.

Someone pls enlighten (in view of karam philosphy written by Kulbir Singh Ji)!
