Vaheguroo jee Ns jeeo, i havnt quoted these froms anywhere. Such titles are commonly mentioned is general conversation. For example: Falana singh dasam duaaree see And So and so mahapurkh were brahmgyaane. General stuff like that right. Daas wanted to know if these are different spiritual stages or one and the same. Jyot vigyaasee is another one i forgot to mention. It seeby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Gurmukh Pyareo Daas isn't against the basis "Guroo Sahib Distinguished Bibian From Singhs" Of course he did, I'm sure Sukhdeep Singh or nobody else is aiming to say, we are the same. We clearly arn't. Even though we are all suhaagana in a sense, soul brides waiting for our auspicious night. Our point is, interpreting bhai sahibs writing. If we say, bhai sahib meant ONLY and ONLY Siby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Unjaan Jeeo, pyareo, I don't think Sukhdeep Singh meant it the way we generally analyze it. for example, theres a bibi named Upkaar Kaur, we wouldn't refer to her as Upkaar Singh. In general conversation, we say stuff like, Singhaa ne ajj Matar Paneer Tyaar Keetaa See isnt LIMITED TO Singhs only, but also Bibian. Of course bibian have the name Kaur for them and also the word Singhniaaby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Good Post Veer Sukhdeep Singh! I actually agree with you on this one =Pby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I happened to be at an Asa dee vaar keertan saturday morning. I walked outside during the course of the keertan, to get a drink of water. I was shcoked to see two of our jath singhs catching a live feed on their cell phone. Being a fan is fine with me. Being a fanatic is not! The drive home consisted of loud honks of cars with India's flag on them. Crazy people. I can only imagineby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
He also claims that the following pangti: "Shree Amritsar Sahib De Darshan Ishnaan" was a propaganda started by the SGPC, in order to retrieve money from sangat, as everybody who does ardaas would feel that they HAVE TO go to darbar sahib on everytrip, sort of the way muslims feel about mecca. While at amritsar, they would contribute funds to darbar sahib. True or not, none of us know,by Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguroo Thank you Kaurs4 Jee for sharing that knowledge. I also think that they might be two ways of describing the same spiritual state. Although I would appreciate if other sangat also gave their input, on the asked question. Kirpa Karo Vahegurooby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Jaspreet Singh Jee The photo you have posted is from a 3HO amrit sanchaar if Im not mistaken. It's scary enough to see that photos are being taken inside an amrit sanchaar, and if I'm not mistaken, one of the bibian is holding a gutka sahib to recite one of the 5 baaniaan. That's a little strange in itself. So I personally have no valued opinion on the said matter, but I would not useby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Well Said Veer Jagjit Singh "NY" Jeeeo, I personally, would never want to remove my dumalla, in such a place or occasion. It's not only a matter of rehit or respect. It's too long and takes forever to re-tie. Haha! But yes, I agree, that when someone, who wants to learn and is being respectful towards the procedure, asks us, we should either explain it to them verbally, or if its a largeby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Jaspreet Singh Jee. I was just using fancy terms to get my point across. I don't intend to classify front seat people as higher or rear seat people as lower. My point was, the original post states, that the people, whose photographs they recently saw are in his words "I recently saw some photos of some GurSikhs that regularly do Seva, Keertan and Parchar around the country at a party."by Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
There was time period in this daas's lifetime, where interest in Sikhee and love for the guroo was strong, but I was bhola (innocent) and I attended such parties and events. My approach was, "It's not like I'm indulging in the activities there, I'm simply present there, I won't be drinking or dancing" Slowly, I learned that despite my actions, the fact that I am simply present at such a plaby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
A very creative and unique post Jaspreet Singh jee. A good piece of writing, with realistic content! I sure am looking forward to reading more of this. Well done, such stories are helpful, especially for little kids, who like fiction, and prefer english over punjabi.by Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
i used to be addicted to a lot of things, at the end of the day, i started sitting down, and noting it in a diary and the amount of time, i spent on a certain activity. i still keep this tiny notebook near my desk, and any time, i indulge in a waste of time (english novels? please, i dont know what else to call them) i look at this diary, and remember the countless hours i have wasted, thatby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
gurmukh sajano the bungaa piece does count as a keskee, and once u tie that into ur hair, it is considered that u are wearing the kakkar. the middle dastaar jaskirat singh bhai sahib jee, is to shape out the dumalla and to steady the dastaar up. usually a loose bungaa, tight middle dastaar, and a loose top dastaar is used to shape out dumalla and also be comfortable for hair and ears. thby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Get Hooked On To Dharmik Books, especially those written by Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Jee. That addiction, would be a "safal" addiction. Read them over by all means, read a material worth reading veer/bhen. Vaheguroo Jee I did not want to get into this discussion, but I do want to state one thing. ARE YOU SERIOUS ? How do you expect to make Pacham Amrit Deg ? without butter/gheo ? Doesn't that come from milk (dairy product) or are we going to now discuss about how deg was made and whether it was started during Guroo Sahib's time or after. Let's get this straight, no dairy productsby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Vaheguroo Daas ties a dumalla. A small tip: Use TWO Larhs to cover your ears, not one. This way, the larhs will have friction, wont slide around, thus not hurting your ears. The dumalla will feel more secure and compact. And it will provide warmth. Only started doing this last year. Wish i had done it earlier. Vahegurooby Upkaar Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
