Khalsa Camp is not a AKJ camp. It is a normal Sikh Camp. Maybe certain Singhs do attend there, but it doesn't make it a AKJ camp. We are part of the Khalsa Panth not AKJ. The comment made doesn't link to the first post, the extract from the book should be taken very seriously by all.by Vista - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Bhai Sahib mentions the boyfriend-girlfriend trend amongst Gursikhs have been influenced by Western liberalism. He mentions as male and female attend the same school, uni, camps etc. They begin flirting with one another and the concept of arranged marriage and respecting your parents decision for marriage partner becomes completely forgotten. There's nothing Sweeter than Naam, all other tastes are false and Gursikhs need not indulge in delicious foods there are too many pangtis that back this up. If we do Naam and GurbaNee Abhyass than automatically our Trishna doesn't want or desire tasty foods. However for Gurpurabs some sweet dishes should be made. But that's pretty much it.by Vista - Gurmat Discussion Forum
There are at least three components for Kirtan. One is Gurbani. Second is Sangeet and third is Kirtaniya i.e. the one singing. All three cast effect on the listener. Gurbani is Gurbani and what to say about it. It's a given. The next component is sangeet i.e. the music aspect of it. If combination of sur, taal and sweet voice is reached then it helps the surthee to engage in Gurbani. But it sby Vista - Gurmat Discussion Forum

What to talk about Gurmat Rehni Behni. The Gatt-Mitt of one who obeys the hukams of Guru Sahib and keeps max rehit cannot be defined or said in words. There were far less pothis, Gutkas and saroops of Siri Guru Granth Sahib jee but Gursikhs then were far more well-versed in Gurbani than today. They had hours long Gurbani nitnems.
