Hanji bhai sahib, soaking in citric acid or lemon juice seems to do the job quite well, ive just been doing that today.by sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguru! Just going slightly off topic, i have some baate - small and also a couple big like the amrit sanchar bata, and a karahi. The problem is they all have patches of black. Is this rust? How can I completly remove this black rust. The orange rust is easily removed with hard scrubbing but not this black stuff. I believe sarbloh should be respected and treated well so is there anyway toby sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Hari Singh ji, simply Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh and gurmatbibek.com. With me there is a particular thing that made me start writing bani. I really would like prakash of guru sahib in the house, but my parents said no. My parents are good and they seem to knonw whats best for me, but they fear the guru. They would not want to have guru sahib in house if there was a possibilty of becoming dhillaby sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Many thanks bhai sahib. Since panth has made a format for sri guru granth sahib i think its best to stick to this setup to avoid complicating things. Another thing i noticed is that printed larivaar saroops have gaps between full stops while pratan handwritten saroops do not. Its best to keep things as pratan as possible! One importan point to make - as sikhs of the panth we must obey the firmby sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
sangat jio, i starting writing gurbani recently and just now have thought of these questions: 1) when having mahala followed by number, should the number be separeted like "m 5" or connected "mahala5". 2) I've noticed there are differences in saroops of guru granth sahib. For e.g. if on one ang the tuk ends with har naam, in another saroop "har naam" may begin on the next ang instead, or haby sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vista Ji, you would be most welcome to have darshan IF i am blessed to carry out and complete such a sevaa. I believe anyone with alot of determination can begin to start writing bani (gutke and then maharaj di saroop), but this seva can only be completed with guru's grace. Laziness can take over everytime.by sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Bhai Kulbir Singh Ji, hopefully, with guru's mahan kirpa, i will have completed a handwritten saroop of guru granth sahib by then. If so, i hope you will stop in the uk for a few days so you can have darshan of saroop and perhaps organise akhand paath sahib for the chardikala of your india trip!by sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vah ji! You have cleared my doubts on this topic.by sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
This is a difficult one. Guru Gobind Singh Jee has clearly stated only one who has jot prakaash is khalsa, whoever does not is nikhalas. This makes sense that one can only be khaalas (pure) if one has jot prakash. pUrn joq jgY Gt mY qb Kwls qwih nKwls jwnY ] pooran joth jagai ghatt mai thab khaalas thaahi nakhaalas jaanai | So is it right to act and dress like khalsa if we are not really kby sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Very informative article. Just one question, isn't the minimum requirement that the gursikh be bibeki i.e. not sarbloh bibeki? Another thing, the gheo should be pure i.e. not salted. When buying gheo there is a choice of salted or unsalted.by sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I believe satan is basically maya, and maya is a conscious being with many forms and many deceits to take us away from akal purakh. So the question is what is the difference between satan(maya) for christians/muslims and sikhs. Like Bhai Kulbir Singh Ji has mentioned, for christians, Satan, the horned devil, is a rival to God. In sikhi Satan (maya) is actually a servant of Waheguru. Waheguru himsby sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I would prefer to hear Bhai Kulbir Singh's analysis, but here is my take for now. For hindus the vedas, shastars etc mean everything to them, they consider it the highest, sames goes for muslims and their quran. Hence, I believe these tuks are saying "for me, the shastars, quran etc are naam or gurbani". So with the tuk provided by Bhai Gurdit Singh: Quoteਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿਮ੍by sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Great post. Just would like clarification on one thing. if one becomes dhilla in certain rehit hence becoming tankhaiya he should do peshi and receive tankaah and possibily choole, then he is forgiven, but here bhai sahib says ardaas also needs to be done? what does bhai sahib mean by this.by sarblohlove - Gurmat Discussion Forum
