I was reading some old posts from tapoban forum and found 1 post in which Bhai Kulbir Singh mentioned that in sikhi there is only 1 mantra and one can call it beej mantar or mool mantar or gurmantar. Just want to know whether it is trure. Satguru has given no other mantar to sikhs other than gurmantar ?by harinder_singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

This is AMAZING piece of poetry but SADLY AND VERY SADLY has not been included in the present version of Sri Dasam Granth Jee, though its available in the Sri Dasam Granth Beer of Nihang Singhs. QuoteSikhs like Sukha and Jinda were Sikhs, but they didn't take Amrit in order to accomplish their mission, it was a tactical and strategic decision on their part Veer jee, This is what I believe in. Only a REHITVAAN amritdhari is a SIKH. Rest ALL are sehajdharis. QuoteIn order to have Siri Guru Granth Sahib jee as Guru, one has to adopt Siri Guru jee as Guru, by taking Khande Pahul (initiation, Amrit chhakna). I have to disagree. There have been many NON-amritdharis who have sacrificed their all for Khalsa panth. I met Bhai Sahib once and from his face, one could easily tell he is naam abhiyaasi and has lots of naam kamayee. I feel the best way to give shardhanjali to Bhai Sahib is by keeping rehits like dietary bibek and doing parkash of Lareevar Saroop at our homes and in our gurdwaras. Just writing few emotional lines and getting on with our same daily lives is NOT a true shardanjali.by harinder_singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I think it will be fair to say that Bhai Gurdaas jee while writing his vaars must have been a high avastha brahamgyani sikh. There is a very famous sakhi that while writing vaars, Bhai Gurdaas wrote a pankiti : If Guru takes test of a Sikh, the Sikh shud not waver | When Satguru jee came to know about this tukk, Satguru jee found 'sooksham haumme' in this tukk and decided to take test of Bhaby harinder_singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Veer jee, This will serve as a MASSIVE parchar for poverty-sticken vanjara/sikligar sikhs. But the KEY is that FAIR WORK RULES HAVE TO EMPLOYED. Even 'gursikhs' who do business in India keep bihari workers, make them work for long hours and give them very little money. These khalsa dairies have to based on the principle that: 1. An idea just striked me that we can use our dasvandh to set up khalsa dairies in Punjab. We can purchase small piece of land outside the city and keep some cows/buffaloes. We can also construct a well and have a small organic garden in the place. Instead of employing tobacco chewing biharis, we can select vanjara/sikligar sikhs who are ready to chakk amrit to work on the dairy. The advantages ofby harinder_singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Some time back, a very knowledgable gursikh said the following to me " talvar da vaar tan bhar janda hai, par shabdan da vaar nahin bharrdaa" Injury by a sword attack can be healed, but injury done by harming/harsh/hurting words cannot be healed. I am just trying to find a solution to what I feel is the major problem in the panth. Panth has been divided into various organizations and those organizations are also getting futher divided. I have seen many gursikhs who have long hours of gurbani abhiyaas but dont keep dietary bibek. Infact, there are even meat-eating amritdharis and nihangs who have decent gurbani abhiyaas routines with good amritvelaas.
