I fail to understand why so much effort is being put to debunk the practice of idol worship in this thread when no one is promoting it in the first place. No one in this thread has advocated idol worship or have suggested that is how Bhagat Dhanna Ji obtained enlightenment. I thought the issue on hand was whether the events in the above mentioned sakhi actually occurred in the life of Bhagatby NavjotSingh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Bhai Kulbir Singh Ji, Jasjit Singh Ji, I have already stated that I have no interest to debate with any of you. All of you are intellectually and spiritually far too superior than this moorakh. This is not a debate of Sri Dasam Bani validity or it's Parkash, but there seems to be a constant accusation on many youth forums that the British was responsible for banning Sri Dasam Bani, and for shortening Nitnem. I have yet tby NavjotSingh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Sukhdeep Singh Ji, Can you please provide any historical references to you assertion that the British tried to ban Sri Dasam Bani? Interestingly, pro-Kala Afghanis state just the opposite - that Sri Dasam Ban was the invention of the British - yet they can not provide an iota of evidence to support that claim. I was curious what you based your claim on? - Navjot Singhby NavjotSingh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
