Vaheguroo!! Really nice!by InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguroo. I was meaning to post a topic similar to this, and the viewpoints on this topic seem extremely helpful. I am in no position to give any advices, but one thing that I have noticed myself doing is that I started consuming more raw products like fruits and nuts which I did not do before. They are as I now realize extremely delicious and healthy, especially when you are craving for a deby InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I saw this video yesterday, and was quite shocked at what extend these young Singhs have gone to show their skills. But is there a line that should be drawn. I mean they were literally bleeding at the end for the sake of entertainment, or maybe Parchaar. I can be wrong, but what are your thoughts? Maybe I am thinking too much. :/by InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguroo..Amazing thoughts Bhai Saahib. I actually went and read a little on what they wrote on the topic, couldn't continue because of the usual garbage they write. Vaheguroo bhallee karan...by InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Vaheguroo A great poem veerjee. I have been thinking about the same topic for quite some time now. Actually when I started my semester at a new college in NY, where we have a "Sikh" Student Association. At first I thought the Association is a Punjabi Association, rather than a Sikh one. And as I heard from one of the other Singhnees who organized the Association, no one is interested in Gurooby InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Last time I traveled I had to go through secondary screening in all the airports my plane had a stopover in. For some strange reason in Vancouver airport my Gatra (without the kirpan) even rung up, for which I was patted down. But mostly all the airports in Canada and US ask you before hand if they should touch your Dastaar or you want to do it yourself, and then they wipe it with the a special cby InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vahegurooo.. Veer Upkaar Singh I hope we are not both talking about the same school. S.S. Mota Singh? Because that would really make this world way too small. haha Now that you mentioned I do remember doing Japjee Saahib as well. It's been way too long for me. I came in 1999.by InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
VahegurooJee I went to school in India till age 10. So can only provide information till that time. I went to a Sikh School in Delhi. Although we had a Guroodvaraa on the school property, there was very little use of it. We were not required to go and do matha tekh to Guroo Saahib. In the morning there would be Hukamnamaa read and then Ardhaas. After that was the Jan Gan Mangal Indian Nationaby InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Upkaar Kaur Bhenjee- I drink Homegenized milk, and I am perfectly fine. I hope. Agreeing with Upkaar Veerjee, most of the milk (2%, skim, etc.) here in NY does contain Fish Oil. And the big Corps. are really not going to tell you if they include fish oil in their milk or not. You really have to get it out from them one way or the other. I have started drinking Organic milk from the company Horby InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Again starting where I left off.. I think it all depends on your need for sevaa on how you want to do it. Other Gurmukho please enlighten me as well.by InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Woops my whole message didn't post. Still getting used to the forum. Ok continuing what I left off with. There are also some Singhs/Singhneeaan I have seen who touch their forehead with each jorey they are doing sevaa of. And after doing the seva they do a short ardhaas and sit back in Sangat. And Veerjeeo I was thinking about the same thing that sometimes you can be the first person to arby InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Such a great Kavita! I remember when I was 6 or 7 years old, my family would visit Bangla Saahib (New Delhi) every weekend. And there used to be a huge line for Degh right outside at the Parkarmaa. We knew that Degh would be very hot but would go back again and again just to get it, because it just tasted soo good. We would keep switching our hands to handle degh because it would soo hot.. I agree with Manmander Singh Veerjee. Doing Joriyaan dee seva prior to taking part in the sangat seems better. From my experience I have seen quite a lot of Gursikhs sitting right next to Jorey during house samaagams and also sometimes during samaagams in Guroodvaraas. Some Gursikhs told me that while doing Joriyaan dee sevaa you should always think of yourself as charan dhoor of Saadh Sangat.by InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguroo Jee I'm new to this forum, but love all the inspirational posts here and wanted to bump this topic back up so there can be more Bachans from Gurmukhs being shared. One of the bachans that always stays with me is from the Panj Pyare who granted me Amrit. They said, "Whenever you go in the hazoori of Guroo Saahib and do matha tek to them, always think of Guroo Saahib Jee being partakhby InderpreetKaur - Gurmat Discussion Forum
