I feel this is a very good decision. You will always have a period of transition, but will long term create a new generation of keertanis who have more dedication to Gurmat and Panthic Sooch.by Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ke fateh A father and son were sitting in pangat in a langar hall, having langar. In front of them, they see two singhs in bana come together. These two singhs talk and it develops into an argument. One Singh is very abusive and has foul language. The other is silent and stands with his hands together in nimerta. THE JEEVANI OF SHAHEED BHAI SATWANT SINGH JI When we grew up we have often seen pictures of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh Agwaan, Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh Malowan and Shaheed Bhai Kehar Singh Mustafabad. These were the Jujarhroo Babbar Sher (Freedom Fighting Mighty Lions) who kept the integrity, pride and Khalsa tradition in our History. veer ji, this is common for many Gursikhs. In West Yorkshire, the NHS bring a blood donation bus to local gurdwaras and most of the sangat donate blood. In addition, many Gursikhs are registered on the organ donation register. When the soul leaves the body, the body is just a vessel. If it is of value to any other human being, then that is seva.by Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Pyare jio, Amrit is the most important decision a person makes in his life. It is important you understand it. Amrit is not something cheap which is distributed to everyone. But something so Pavitaar (special), that you accept - "Phela Maran Kabul hai, Jeevan ke Chad Aass". (Accept death, leave your lifes wishes behind.) Before I took Amriby Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I was reading a punjabi article on Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara. Bhai Sahibs uncle was severely tortured by Punjab Police. When they came to pick him up again from his farm, he drank pesticide, because he could not endure anymore humiliation. Then his father was picked up by Punjab Police. His father had heart problems. During the torture, he died from heart attack because of torture. I read Bhaiby Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

vaheguru ji ke khalsa vaheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, the last week has really shown a real contrast if one were to analyse...... Hindu : Baba Ramdev talks about the noble cause of ridding India of corruption, however when the going got tough (as it has been for Sikhs and all other minorities for decades), Baba Ramdev puts on a salwaar kameez borrowed from a woman and runs away. Why would you feel the need to do ustat of one particular Gursikh? When you say Vaheguru, you recognise akaal purkh and all his creation. Gurbani is all encompassing, we need no other bhojan (food). Our minds should be dedicated to the Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji and our bodies to the Guru Khalsa Panth. Bhai Sahib does not need ustaat, he completed his marg in a far greater fashion thanby Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguru ji ke khalsa vaheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, last weekend I was in the midlands doing programmes, but the weekend before I was fortunate to attend the Sunday Divan at Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Wakefield Road, Bradford. There was the now usual nice atmosphere, which was enhanced by the manner in which the sangat all did sukhmani sahib together, with all the sangat especially bibian participby Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
My understanding of Being Tyaar Par Tyaar is more than merely carrying shasters. It is about having a specific mindset based upon pure Gurmat. Whatever seva Guru ji puts before his Gursikhs, a Tyaar par tyaar Gursikh should at once run for that seva. If a keertani is required, he/she does keertan, if a tablachi is required , they play tabla, if a paati is required, they do paat, if a langar sby Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I know a few Gursikhs who are interested in learning the art of writing Gurbani. At khalsa camp we had workshops on calligraphy. It would be good if all such Uk Gursikhs who are interested in this can link up.by Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I agree..... I find this completely inappropriate. We do not follow any person or personality. We only follow Shabad Guru. Praise should only be to Akaal Purkh. Some people Say Dhan Guru Ram Das ji and or to other Guru Sahibaan. But it should not be used for any Gursikh.by Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Many of the children of the Babbar Akalis were arrested aswell. Some as young as 3-5 years old. They spent many years of their childhoods in prison. All the babbar Akalis were staunch in Gurmat principles. However the communists wrote books using their names to pretend they were communists to further their cause. They did the same thing with Bhagat Singh.by Jagjit Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Bhai Pal Singh is well known around the world for his charity work. He had been doing seva for many years in North America. My first meeting with Bhai Sahib was when he came to the UK. Veer Kulbir Singh Ji just hit the nail on the head... Emotions of love are very deep and there are levels.... at first we should just try to enjoy the Rang (colouring and bliss) of Naam..... then Maharaj will do kirpa himself...
