Bhain Jee, It's not the situation of the bibi that I find funny. What has happened to her is most unfortunate, because 15,000 rupees is a pretty large amount of money for a poor person in India. It is the situation of the dog being some how an "untouchable" that I find funny. If this were any other country, it would never have happened, but only in India can something so strange happen. This is actually quite funny, seems like something out of a comedy drama. Poor dog though.by HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Why is there even a debate about this whole issue? Without Rehet we are like disabled people. Rehet (all of them) is like a cane a (spiritually)disabled or an injured person uses in order to walk properly on the spiritual path. The path is Naam and the destination of the path is Sachkhand. If we use our cane(rehet) to walk on the path(naam) we will reach our destination (Sachkhand). So the caneby HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Harinder Singh, I think when people say you need to take Amrit in order to have a rishta with Guru Jee, they are only emphasizing the importance of Amrit in the life of a Sikh, they don't mean it literally. Sikhs like Sukha and Jinda were Sikhs, but they didn't take Amrit in order to accomplish their mission, it was a tactical and strategic decision on their part. Do you think they would approveby HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

JAB EH GAHE BIPRAN KI REET, MAI NAA KARON IN KI PARTEET|| Is it any wonder Sikh Panth is in the mess it is now? Only one word can fully explain this and that is "MANMATT".by HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Even though so many youths in India are Mona/hair cutters, yet Sant Jarnail Singh Jee Bhindranwala's popularity is making a big comeback. It is not uncommon to see youths having stickers of Sant Bhindranwalay displayed on their cars or even wearing tee shirts with Sant Jee's picture despite the government/media's aggressive attempts at demonizing Sant Jee whenever they get a chance.by HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Every Sikh should promote Bhai Jarnail Singh Jee's book by buying a copy. I bought my copy a couple of months ago. We need to make sure no one forgets what happened in 1984. The pressure is on us (by politicians) to "forget and move on", but we cannot move on until those guilty are punished, and those guilty will only get punished if we keep remembering and stay motivated.by HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
This is all worldly steps for a future in this world which may or may not happen. Can you please list the 10 practical steps of how we can have darshan of Charan Kamal of Vaheguru. I am really eager to know. As Sikhs that is what we need to focus on most.by HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Instead of a Naam competition, how about if both candidates have a Kushti match. The one who wins can be the Jathadar. That way we can insure that we have the strongest and fittest Jathadars just like Puraatan Singhs.by HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Like I said, Giani Iqbal Singh like his fellow Manmatee Brother Darshan Ragi are here to divide the Panth along sectarian lines. In a way it is good that Giani Iqbal Singh is finally showing his true colours as Darshan Ragi has shown for the last few years.by HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
That was a very nice Kavita by Kulbir Singh Jee. Vista Jee, thanks for sharing this never before seen video of Sant Bhindranwalay. And Mehtab Singh jee, good find.by HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
As long as Sikhs are distracted by issues like Ragmala, Dasam Granth they will not focus on real issues which are so important for the Panth such as: -increasing influence of Gurudoms increasing at the expense of the Sikh Panth. -punishing those responsible for atrocities against the Sikhs since 1984. -exploitation of Punjab by the center. -apostasy amongst Sikh youth. Here are some behavioral rules I think a Gursikh should adopt as a part of his behavior. -If a young Bibi is near by whether she is married or unmarried, I think that the rule for a Gursikh male should be to always keep his nazar/gaze lowered. Eye contact should generally be avoided with a Bibi. -Talking to a young Bibi who is not related to oneself should be avoided. -In my opinion conby HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Bijla Singh Jee is right. Some modern sanatanist elements now days are claiming that Anand Karaj is a Singh Sabha invention, when in fact before Singh Sabha the ealy Nirankaris had revived this puraatan Sikh tradition. Singh Sabha is wrongly called the Sikh reformist movement even by many Sikhs. In actuality, the Singh Sabha was a "Sikh revivalist movement", and that is what we need to call it. Great puzzle. I also thought that it must have been from Bhai Gurdas Jee. Bhai Nand Lal Jee's writings are very deep. Urdu and Farsi poetry is usually very deep that forces the reader to get into deep thought in order to understand it.by HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I would just like to thank Bhai Kulbir Singh Jee for taking the time to write this article. It was very badly needed. I did learn a lot of new things from this that I had no knowledge of before. With Guru's kirpa I always made an effort to say the Mangalacharn before, this article has just made my beliefs even stronger. We need to only rely on Guru Sahib, only he will give us justice. Once we start to rely on others we will lose the support of Guru Sahib. The early Akalis during the Akali movement did not ally themselves with any non-Sikh party and they were given success and command of the Panth. Then the Akalis started seeking support of the Congress, and so we became Ghulaam. When the Congress finally showedby HJ Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
