A small question, would it be OK to also write in form of senchis, so i could keep them at home with satkaar ( at the moment i dont think it is suitable to have guru sahib at my house atm) if so, would chandoa etc still be needed ( i'm guessing so.) any gurbani so far that guru sahib has given sewa of writing, ive done so on a small manjee sahib i borrowed from the gurdwara - could any other gurby Anand_mangal - Gurmat Discussion Forum

To above I have heard many taksaal singhs use 'sh' and 'z' in dasam bania written in farsi. In aad Sri guru Granth sahib , when we learnt -bindias were added at the top but never at the bottom on the letters I.e sabad instead of shabad etc.by Anand_mangal - Gurmat Discussion Forum
To gursikh above, the way ' jehsadhuu gobid bhajan' written is correct. we can't change Bani by adding bindis in likhti roop where guru Ji hasn't written them, bt as in ucharan we do- read across to where bhai sahib has dine the short arth of the pangti - he clearly writes gobind.by Anand_mangal - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Regarding Puratan Saroops it is quite important that the Room is temperature controlled. Other then this there are many other factors that could affect or ruin old puratan saroops i.e too much bright light can effect the paper, remember the angs are not made from the paper we have nowadays so many factors can effect puratan saroops. Although the British Library and other museums which have hath lby Anand_mangal - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Of course there is nothing wrong with putting thicker rumalas on in winter. it is just out respect towards our guru. we need to do uttam sewa for guru sahib, better then even what we have ourselves. of course there is crossing the boundries and going too over the top, but we should respect everyones sharda and sewa. with what the poster has written about maharaj getting tired on the thakat isby Anand_mangal - Gurmat Discussion Forum
In my opinion it would be better if you do guru sahib parkash and do abhiyaas then. If there is Space shortage then i Dnt think there is a problem in doing simran in the room where guru sahib is biraajmaan. I have never heard of any one doing this before though. Usually out of satkaar of guru sahib in sukhasan ( when guru sahib are in smadhi) we don't hold diwans or any programme here as guru sahby Anand_mangal - Gurmat Discussion Forum
One time Gyani Mohan Singh Ji Rare Sahib wale visited Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Bhindranwale and asked Mahapursh what the signs of a Brahmgyani (True Saint) were. Sant Ji smiled and said, “When one has completely destroyed any essence of ego such that it does not come even to them in their dreams. When one has defeated all vikaars and sees Waheguru’s light everywhere in each and every soulby Anand_mangal - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Sant Gurbachan Singh jee’s Abhyaas of Gurbani One time Sant Kartar singh ‘premi’ asked sant Gurbachan Singh ji that any line we give from Guru Granth sahib you can automatically tell us which’ Ang ‘ it is on, how did your abhyaas of Gurbani get to this extraordinary stage? Sant ji said that before coming to Sant Baba Sundar Singh Ji he had done over 500 Sehaj Paats. This is somethinby Anand_mangal - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I have heard from alot of gursikhs that it is better to wear two sri sahibs ( i.e. one small underneath and one larger on the top.) This led to abit of curiosity, that is there a particular reason to this, or is it just 2 strenghthen Rehit? Also do both sri sahibs have to be work 24/7 i.e. sleep bath etcby Anand_mangal - Gurmat Discussion Forum
