Thank you Suthra Veer Ji. Please do share more veechar from Bhai Jodh Singh Jis book. Gurmukh who are unable to attain the book can get the understanding of Bhai Sahib Ji' s times from a Gurmukh of that time. Benti to gurmukh pyareh on the forum to share further books as well.by SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Thank you for sharing Suthra Veer Ji. I've not heard of Sohan Chirhee Chree Gain. Could you give a description of the book? Thanks Ji.by SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, I thought a good thread would be everyone recommending books in relation to sikh history and gurmukh pyareh of the past. This could be relating to during guru maharaj ji's time (i.e. Bhai Vir Singh Ji's Chamatkar), history after this time or relating to gurmukh pyareh mahapurakh (i.e. Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji's books or Se Kanehiya). Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Bhai Kulvir Singh Ji: I say the following comments with upmost respect for yourself and the other gursikh on this forum. My first comment in reply to yourself is you must be able to see a number of wise gurmukh pyare who do simran during kirtan. All the names mentioned within my previous post are highly respected individuals within the khalsaby SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I disagree with the view points within this post. Look at all of the gurmukh pyare who would themselves do simran in sangat and get others to jaap naam in sangat. In Kirtan form to name a few there's: Giani Amolak Singh Ji Bhai Jeevan Singh Ji Bhai Joginder Singh Ji Talwara Master Niranjan Singh Ji Bhai Tejinderpal Singh Ji Dulla Ji Bhai Harpreet Singh Ji Bhai Surjeet Singh Ji Manyby SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, I can't believe that last few comments on this post. Disagreeing with the views of the person on the video does not mean that its ok to do nindia of gursikhs like Giani Thakur Singh Ji and Bhai Hari Singh Ji. Aalas Moorakh - You have twisted Giani Thakur Singh Ji's veechar in his Jap Ji Sahib katha. He wasn't stating it as a pro-ragmala/anti-rby SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Waheguru Ji Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, I reference to the above posts I just wanted to humbly put a viewpoint forward. I can understand that gurmukh pyare have advised against matha teking such as in the above sakhi’s. But on the other hand Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj Ji’s hukham stating we should fall at the feet of bhagat jan, gursikh and gurmukhs as shown below:by SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Thanks Vista veer Ji for that post on Bhai Fauja Singh Ji, Sant Baba Kartar Singh Ji and Sant Baba Harnam Singh Ji. It reminded me of two things: Firstly it reminded me of the shabad ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਸੇਵਾਗੁਰਸਿਖਾਗੁਰਸਿਖਮਾਪਿਉਭਾਈਮਿਤਾ|| sung my Giani Amolak Singh Ji in one of his old recordby SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Aalas Moorakh Veer Ji, I'm not here to start debates but the statement that "Theres only one sant and thats Guru sahib" is incorrect from a gurbani point of view. Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji wrote a book entitled "Sant Paad Nirneh" in which Bhai Sahib Ji states the gurbani pangtia in which Sant (and Saad) means guru maharaj ji and tuks in which gurbani refers to sant as gurmukh pyare gursikh.by SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Kulbir Singh Veer Ji, I respect your veechar on this forum but I feel this post is incorrect in many ways. Firstly Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji had major respect for many sants wearing white clothes. A great example is the respect the Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji gives to Sant Baba Harnam Singh Ji Rampur Khere Wale in the following videos: (Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji' speech begins 5 mby SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, Quick question. Where could one get larivaar senchia from? I think this would be useful for anyone interested in reading gurbani in larivaar as they know where they can get the senchia from (so lets try to get a list for Punjab, Canada, UK, US etc). You could also get a list going for Panj Granthi Senchia etc.by SinghFrmBham - Gurmat Discussion Forum
