waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh ns ji, this is just my opinion, but first answer that comes to my mind, is... having love for all HIS creation is lovin HIM, since we are HIS creation, we do love ourselves. that's why we take care of ourselves, keep up with hygeine, do not harm our bodies, degrade it or anything. BUT we're mere humans, we dont understand the difference between love aby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
another poem " Impatience.... is inside me please help me Guru Ji I know this is all a game of maya ... trying to get me away from you... this game of maya is to much for me to handle Guru ji please take me away ........ Guru ji help me.... kirpa karo "by japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
This a poem written by a 14 year old Wasting days and night engaged in maya Then questioning Guru ji "why am I wasting time" Instead of doing something about it .... I just waste more time and complain Once old age hits then I will think, all those years wasted and I still don't jap naam =( Guru ji please save us moorakhs kirpa karo prabhoo kirpa karo by: anonymousby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
thank you so much virji kulbir singh... thinking of it as using best technique in order to do it properly makes more sense than other things i've been told such as "its the akj secret, we can't reveal it to non-drirh ppl" that just seemed unfair.. but, another question arises... does that mean that non-drirh people should be intentionally left out of naam simran? i know several people whoby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
ok without the proper "technique" japping naam isn't japping naam? sayin waheguru isn't japping naam? what bout those individuals that dont know of such things and are brought to the path of sikhi just by mahraj ji's kautak and those individuals who simply follow the thing that gives them peace inside.. so that peace isn't peace if it's obtained through japping naam without naam drirh? agby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
what's more amazing, is he said it took about 5-6 years to finish this saroop.. and he finished the last couple angs at khalsa camp bc and showed it to his lecture class.. was truly inspiring.. his hand made borders are so beautiful, his attention to detail.. and clean handwriting as bhainji mentioned above is truly amazing =)by japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
so i think i'd be adding to jpsingh77 virji.. (and if not, then forgive me) those that have the chance to go into sangat and decide not to, well, mahraj ji has their account. but for some of us that dont have the chance for amritvela get-togethers, or doin naam simran and nitnem with sangat.. what can we use for substitute? or can we even? so in this case, doing amritvela alone (with guruby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
true, if all khalsa panth got together, and talked in a calm manner, and took hukamnamey on regarding issues, things wld surely be solved easily, in mahraj ji's hajoori, of course. but, is naam drirh so important in order to jap naam at amritvela? vjkk vjkfby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
this is really great bhainji. people nowadays come across one contradiction and stop in their paths, confused, feeling helpless.. and usually follow the path that mahraji ji forbids ie: meat..people will follow, because some other rehetnama allows it. I think this is a great way to tell people to think things through, to make sense of things rather than following rules blindly... ><by japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Being a student in college, it's hard for many ppl to stay on a sleep schedule.. for many years, i'd go to sleep after midnight, and it totally slipped my mind that i shld do sohila sahib.. cuz it wld be amritvela time, not "night". and always hesitated to sohila sahib cuz it was "amritvela" until i asked several ppl, family and friends...and i was told that sohila sahib isn't restricted to tiby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
i just think that limiting our dasvand to only gursikhs is defeating the purpose.. theres no way to know that our money will be used for the same good that we intend it to, as 1kaur bhainji's pointed out several times.. and if the dasvand will be put to good use in the hands of poor/homeless/hungry nonsikhs who's to say that if that dasvand was wasted? like 1kaur bhainji said before, if guby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Harinder singh.. even "JUST" nitnem at amritvela is difficult for most of us.. but it is great to hear that sehjdharis can feel so welcome and encouraged to do all this.. nitnem, sangat, seva.. of course this would only lead them towards sikhi, and grow the love of waheguru in their hearts, leading them to realize the true hira in this world, sikhi. i think its a great way to start the parcby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
1kaur bhainji..i know the artwork you've posted must be amazing, as i've been able to acess flikr and ur other artwork sites from other computers.. as for mine, its restricting all ur above posted work.. what can i say, parents.. =P request is..is there any other way i can access that artwork? i've been searching for sikhi posters, sikhi art, gurbani art for my room.. and it would be so perfectby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
all this information is actually really great for people that never stopped to question the specifics, like me. but i do have one question.. the singhs can wear long comfy kechere, but the singhnia are restricted to the small and shorts-type kechere that ride up at the slightest movement.. which defeat the purpose of the way a kechera is supposed to stay "fitted".. let alone how annoying iby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh wow, this hukamnama is so beautifull... very bairagmyi anyone heard the sung version by Bhai Bakhsheesh Singh? the tune, the tone, everything really makes u feel the bairaag.. Kulbir Singh virji's explanation makes better sense to me, personally.. whereas Pjs ( frm the sikhsangat forum ) explains that akal purkh is waheguru ..and kaal purkh is the "maya-like" form of waheguru.. on one hand, waheguru is form-less.. on another its forms are limitless ( meaning they do exist ) but.. how can waheguru have a maya-like form? Yes, maya itself is controlled by mahraj ji, buby japnaam - Gurmat Discussion Forum
