As our brains were tunes to learning the Anand Sahib at young age but obviously without paying full attention to the laga/matran we ended up with a lot of bad habits. One of them is mixing up Gur and Guru or Satgur and Satguru in Anand Sahib pauris. As its been in the subconscious for a very long time, is there any way gursikhs can advise to get rid of the mistakes and rewire the brain to remembeby HSinghIrl - Gurmat Discussion Forum
1. At home if we have parkash of Guru Sahib and have children who want to do chaur seva is it mandatory for the children to have taken full ishnaan including kesh ishnaan and not have gone to #2 after the ishnaan? 2. What is acceptable no of days by when the darshani rumalay and sukhasan rumalay should be changed?by HSinghIrl - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh This is what daas was told by panj piare. 1. Do ardaas both before flying out and after landing. 2. Do not eat or drink anything unless you are back with your kakaar. Exception was given to people with medical condition like diabetes. 3. There was no distinction made for adult/child. However when they said only eat/drink if you are really sick oby HSinghIrl - Gurmat Discussion Forum
The bhaande are cleaned properly. After cleaning they are shiny and without rust.. Note they are not polished. We will try the soda option and see if it helps.by HSinghIrl - Gurmat Discussion Forum
What may cause the teeth and tounge to go black after eating food cooked in sarbloh and served in clean and properly washed sarbloh utensils. The blackness doesn't go away easily even after rinsing and brushing.. This is a problem faced by one singh who asked about the cause and remedy.by HSinghIrl - Gurmat Discussion Forum
These days majority of Gurdwaras have become centres of activities which are no where "satsang". I would say the only reason to go there will be if there is a gurmat samagam going on or for regular darshan of Guru Sahib if you don't have parkash at home. As for Dharamsaal, a gursikhs' house will definitely have kirtan and Khalsa's langar is open for anyone who comes to the door.by HSinghIrl - Gurmat Discussion Forum

WaheguruJiKaKhalsa WaheguruKiKiFateh Bhai Gurdas Ji mentions in one of the vaar "Ghar Ghar Andar Dharamsaal, Hovai Keertan Sada Vasoa". Guru Sahib's message was to make each and every SIkh's home a Dharamsaal or Guru's ghar. Most of the singhs either do nitnem individually at their home or collectively in sangat at other singhs' homes. Its not necessary to go to gurdwara sahib to do you nitnemby HSinghIrl - Gurmat Discussion Forum

What about spending it on the children. These days getting archery/horse riding classes or even music classes with a good ragi/teacher is not cheap. Our own children are also part of the khalsa family and if the daswandh money is spent on providing them with skills that help them in learning musical instruments for kirtan, learn our heritage skills in horse riding/archery etc will that not be conby HSinghIrl - Gurmat Discussion Forum
