One of the greatest saints of 20th century, puran Brahmgiani Mahapurakh Sant Baba Attar Singh ji Mastuana did not keep sarbloh rehit. So is the case with Sant Baba Karam Singh Hoti Mardan, Sant Baba Aaya Singh ji Hoti Mardan, and so is the case with Sant Baba Attar Singh ji Reru Sahib Wale. At the same time everybody in Sikh panth respects sarbloh/bibeki rehit. Baba Mit Singh ji of Nanded sahib,by mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Its often said that Guru Angad dev ji organised wrestling matches. How does somebody who has joorha participate in full contact wrestling. Won't joorha come undone and would that not be considered a be-adbi? It looks so dis-respectful when somebody's hair get opened up like that.by mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum

A small short term and immediate way is to remove yourself from the scene and go away somewhere in open air. This often calms me down. And then talk it out with a friend. Talking it out releases the build up inside. And of course Simran.by mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum

You are accusing me of going against Gurmat by saying life did not come out of chemicals. You are wrong. Chemicals did precede life and Guru said this very thing. Try and explain this.by mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum

One of the many ways in which evolution is proven is through evolutionary remnants in species. Have a look at these articles. Its only by convenience that we choose to take 68 teeraths and 10 directions and 14 lokas as to be used figuratively and take 84 lac as something to swear by. If there are 14 Lokas how do they fit in with the theory of 5 Khands? Going by this approach Guru ji should have, while elaborating in the Gyan Khand have been specific about the count of everything. And he did not mention 14 lokas at all.by mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Every species that comes into being as a result of various factors of genetic variation and such is a complete and full species on its own and it is not Half Way of a future species. And within a species an individual remains with same specie-specific body its whole life. When a species is not able to produce a viable offspring from another one it can be considered to be a separate species. Homby mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Lets take another example. Guru ji uses the figure of 14 bhavans and 10 directions at many places in Gurbani. Here for example: ਚਉਦਹਿ ਚਾਰਿ ਕੁੰਟ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪ ॥ ਜਲ ਥby mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I would also like to add that in US and Canada some christian churches like Jehovah's Witness preach vociferously against Evolution and other science findings. It is in this background that this thread has come up for discussion on a Sikh forum. My suggestion to all sikhs in general is that we should NOT indulge in arguing about Scientific findings. I believe in Evolution and I also believe that Gurmat has no problem with this theory. I do not have time to elaborate more on this, so I'll just say a few words here. #The figure 84 lakh of yonis has NOT been arrived at by Sikh Gurus. Its a figure which existed for thousands of years in religious lore of Bharatvarsha and was present in Ancient texts. #The belief that 84 lakh joonis is a fiby mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
hmm.. so why is this so? Why is it that there are no directions -let alone elaborations- on this? Gurbani is treated as infallible injunction by a sikh, so does it leave the role of societal strength to student's (a sikh's) understanding and discrimination? How does one reconcile the two things? Having connections does not mean accepting each and everything. Dhruv, Prahalada, Vashisht and many others are praised by Gurbani as Gurmukhs which is a proof of these 'connections'. In accepting this there is no danger of Sikhism losing its separate identity.by mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Great example of the fact that Gurbani takes much of ideas, mythology, definitive terms, concepts, attitudes other elements from Sanatan stream of Bharatvarsha and treats it as a huge contextual background. These days in a zeal to show Sikhism as a separate religion many wish to deny the fact that Gurbani has anything to do with anything connected with Hinduism and that Gurbani refers to these juby mystical23 - Gurmat Discussion Forum

The outer societal life is a tough one as we all know. If one remains meek and humble all the time one gets exploited, used and discarded like a material object. I agree with you Kulbir Singh ji. But with a slight variation though. I think what Kabir ji is saying is : "O Kabir recite the Naam, and if you have taken on a Khasam(made Vaheguru as your master, and yourself become a slave of Him), He shall be protect you (from enemies or death or whatever)" The difference is slight but important.
