I came across a historical text ( Bansvalinama-Bhai Kesar Singh) yesterday, and
it too mentions that the learned scholar Bhai Mani Singh Ji changed the format
of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji by placing Banis of the Bhagats at the end and
including Dasmi Paatshas granth thus making it one volume. Now Its quite evident
that Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji did change the format of Sri GUru Granth Sahib
Ji . In addition to Sri Guru Granth Parskash and Bansvalinama, GUrmat Scholars
like BHai Randhir Singh Ji and Bhai Kahan Singh Ji have also mentioned this. Its
very unlikely that all sources mentioned above have fabricated this event.

Read Shahid Bilaas for accurate account of Bhai Mani Singh Ji's life. Bansavalinama mixes up two Mani Singhs together for obvious reasons. I will leave the rest for you to study though I am sure you won't. Guru Rakha

Can you quote exactly what Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Jee written about change of the order of the Gurbani by Bhai Mani Singh Shaheed? or name the book of Bhai Sahib and page number of this Sakhi or are you talking about Bhai Randhir Singh former research scholar SGPC?

With Regards,

In Sri Gur Panth Parkash, "Gyani" Gyani Singh "ji", on page 596, talks about Bhai Mani Singh ji, in the chapter "Bhai Mani Singh ji di Katha".
You can download the PDF Sri Gur Panth Parkash at this link [www.ik13.com] and have a look at it yourself.

Bhai Bijla Singh Jeeo - Can you provide info. which proves Bansivalanama mixes up two different Mani Singhs?
Did Bhai Randhir Singh Ji, BHai Kahan Singh Ji, and BHai Rattan Singh ( Sri GUru Panth Parakash) also mix
them up as well. THe account mentioned in Bansvalinama is very similar to what is mentioned in Sri GUru Panth Parkaash.

Bhai Pardeep SIngh Jeeo- This is a Sikh forum and we are discussing Sikh history refer to the first page to understand what is being discussed.

Bhai Jasjit Singh Jeeo- Bhai Randhir SIngh Ji has mentioned the following in Joti Bigaas.

source provided by MB Singh Veer Ji

Bhai Jaspreet Singh Jeeo- I am not referring to Mangals in Gurbani I am referring to order of Angs in Gurbani. Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji included the Bhagat Bani at the end and he made one granth out of both granths ( Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Dasmi Paatshahs granth). According to scholar Professor Pyaara Singh this bir is still in existence and resides in DElhi.
