Attn Veer Mehtab Singh: ਅੰਬੀ ਦੀ ਛਾਂਹ ਓਟ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ

This poem has been inspired by Veer Mehtab Singh. I don't call it a poem but whatever it is, it is because of my brother Mehtab Singh.

So ih kavita, veer Mehtab Singh noo samarpit:

ਬਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਨੇਰੀ ਝੁਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਵੱਸ ਸਾਡਾ ਚਲਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਸਿਖਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰਾ ਬਦੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ, ਇਹ ਸੂਰਜ ਕਿਉਂ ਢਲਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਅੰਬੀ ਦੀ ਛਾਂਹ ਓਟ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਇਥੇ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤੂੰ ਮਲਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਇਹ ਖੇਡ ਹੈ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ, ਇਥੇ ਭਾਣਾ ਚਲਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।

ਓਟ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ, ਰਹਿਮ ਕਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਂਈਆਂ ਜੀ।
ਨਦਰੇ ਕਰਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਤੇਰੀ, ਮਨ ਵੱਜਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਜੀ।
ਰੱਖ ਲੈ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮੇਰੇ, ਮੈਂ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਲੱਖ ਦੁਹਾਈਆਂ ਜੀ।
ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ ਇਕ ਦਾਰੂ ਮੇਰਾ, ਨਾ ਭਾਵਣ ਹੋਰ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਜੀ।

ਮਿਠਬੋਲੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ, ਦੁੱਧ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਨੇ।
ਨਿਹਾਲ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਸੋਂਹਦੇ ਨੇ, ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਡਿੱਠੇ ਨੇ।
ਬੇਫਿਕਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਭਗਤ ਆਪਣੇ, ਸਭ ਮਸਲੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਜਿੱਠੇ ਨੇ।
ਮਹਿਮਾ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ, ਇਹ ਮੁੱਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਿੱਠੇ ਨੇ।

ਮਹਿਮਾ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ, ਜਦ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੈਂ ਝਾਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ
ਸ਼ਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ ਸੀਸ ਝੁਕਦਾ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸੱਚ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਮੈ, ਖੁਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਂ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਰਾਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਹਾਂ ਜੀ ਸਿਆਹ ਕਾਲਾ, ਉਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਦਰਵੇਸ਼ ਮੈਂ ਭਾਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੰਨਿਆ ਠਗਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ, ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਤੂੰ ਦਇਆਲ ਹੋਕੇ।
ਪਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਗਰ ਸਾਂਈਂਆ ਜੀ, ਰੱਖ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਹੋਕੇ।
ਹਿਜਰ ‘ਚ ਤਪਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਠੰਡ ਵਰਤਾ ਤੂੰ ਸਿਆਲ ਹੋਕੇ।
ਭੋਗ ਸਾਡੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਨਿਮਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਰੱਸ ਰੱਸੀਆ ਜੀ ਰਸਾਲ ਹੋਕੇ।

That is touching, Veer Ji.-----------------Is it possible that we start a separate poetry section, here.

Vaheguru Vaheguru Vaheguru Vaheguru Vaheguru!!!!!

Now we can clearly see the difference between the words from the soul of a manmukh like me and a Gurmukh like Bhai Sahib ji. It took me a while to read as my Gurmukhi reading is pretty slow.

Bhai Kulbir Singh ji di kavta parrkey, Mehtab hunn tuchh parteet'da hai
Ehne kaahdi kavta rachni, eh ta hawa chon akhar gharrees'da hai

WOW Kulbir Singh. That's pretty good. I wish we more get more Sikhi related poetry on this forum. I suggest there also be a Sikh poetry section on this site.
