I’ve been a sinner
With my spirituality growing thinner
I’ve been a sinner, giving way to my weakness
And losing totally my grace and meekness
I’ve been a sinner, I made way for the flood to over run me
Yet You mercifully held my hand and didn’t shun me
I’ve been a sinner, I almost jumped off the cliff to die
It was You who grabbed me, while I thought I could fly
I’ve been a sinner, and tried hard to swim through
The harder I tried, the farther from You I flew
I’ve been a sinner, and a real nasty one
Try finding one like me, I bet there will be none
I’ve been a sinner, but You are forgiving
Yet again I beg forgiveness, and guidance for the way to living
I’ve been a sinner, so now I leave it to You, totally, all in all
Between me and You, let there never ever be any wall
I’ve been a sinner, but I love you Gurujee
