The bit at around 7 mins on the 3rd video, where the swami says that if sant ji had seen the 1947 riots he would have cried ... the singh straight away says "Sant Ji is not in the habit of crying" !!

Sant Ji then goes on to say that even if you were to chop off our heads, we wouldnt cry, if you skinned us we wouldnt cry, etc etc, he says its you other people who are in the habit of crying!

The swami presses by saying not even if a child was bein drowned? Sant ji says if i saw that i wouldnt stand there crying id pull him out. Swami again says that sant cant be everywhere and cant always save everyone. sant ji says that if his arms were tied and he was powerless to help then he would accept the will of god and still not cry, but if his arms were open then he would deal death to the person drowing the child!! what is the point in crying?

at 9.50 the swami mentions mohand das gandhi (aka ma hat ma gandhi) and sant ji says, 'oh shad pareh, eh mahatma gandhi nu lei ferda"

And this is further evidence that Sant Ji and the singhs were not just hot headed villagers, but educated and calm, level headed people who knew how to discuss and debate.

A true Babbar Sher

What an interview. Thanks for posting this for public viewing. Sant jee was a pure Babbar Sher. What a Mard he was. He was a lion.

Many years ago I met an American who was a disciple of Swami Vishnudevanda (to the best of my memory). He was very critical of Sant Bhindranwale. Apparently, he was with the Swami when he went to see Sant jee. I asked him why he was so much against Sant jee. He said that during a conversation with Sant jee and the Swami, at one point Sant jee said that anyone who cuts hair can never reach any spiritual destination. Swami himself was cleanshaven. He took offence at this comment. Then Sant jee told him that 125,000 prophets, 84 Sidhas, 330 million Devtas and all Avatars were Saabat-Soorat i.e. did not cut their hair. In Kalyug, too the rules are same. One who cuts hair cannot be a spiritually elevated person. For this reason the American I met was critical of Sant jee. I told him that it was his misfortune that he thought this way and we parted ways.

Once again, Sant jee was a Lion amongst lambs. Watching the videos we get the feeling that if Sant jee had been fluent in English, he would have satisfied the Swami and his party.

I feel a lot more pyaar and satkaar for Sant Jee after watching these 3 newly uploaded videos that were God knows where for the past 26 plus years. These should be shown to all those Indians as well who think negatively about him. The way in which Sant Jee rebutted all unnecessary logics from the Swami was just amazing. Please make sure to watch all 3 videos fully.

I saw the videos again. That Swami seems to have serious memory problems. Sant Jee talks about the shaheedi of Bhai Kulwant Singh Nagoke who was shaheed on June 11, 1982 (I checked allaboutsikhs.com). Harminder Singh Sandhu also gives the date of arrest as June 1982, so that date is confirmed. Then Harminder Singh Sandhu talks about another Darshan Singh who was shot dead by police outside Darbar Sahib on October 18, 1982, which means that this conversation took place either in late 1982 or early 1983 when it was still winter (as is obvious from Sant Jee wearing shawl). The Swami later on asks that since Sanjay Gandhi is very close to Indira Gandhi, is it ok if he comes and talks to Sant Jee. I checked Wikipedia and found that Sanjay Gandhi died in an aircrash on June 23, 1980, which is a good 2.5 years before this conversation took place. I was surprised howcome no one reminded him that Sanjay Gandhi is dead, or maybe he was confusing Sanjay Gandhi with Rajiv Gandhi.

they left the same way Baba Gurbax Singh Ji and the entire Jatha left
Approaching Sri Dargah their Ardas was heard
Thus a leader was created to wake up the sleeping herd

In 1984, Sant Ji heard the Shaheed Singhs call
he was not intimidated even though the Khalsa army was "small"

Sant Bhindranwale and the other Singhs fought like Lions, and attained Martyrdom
Upon their last breath they heard the most blessed Guru Ji say come come come..

Like previous Singhs they reached Sri Darghah and did Ardas for the panth
Which jatha, which leaders, will Guru Ji send next to make a dying stand?
