Couldn't go to sleep so started surfing for kirtan and maharaaj ji helped me come across this most beautiful shabad, sung with too much love and sehaj. If this does not pull on ones heart strings nothing will!

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਭੀਖਿਆ ਦੇਹਿ ਮੈ ਤੂੰ ਸੰਮ੍ਰਥੁ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ॥

ਹਉਮੈ ਗਰਬੁ ਨਿਵਾਰੀਐ ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ॥

ਲਬੁ ਲੋਭੁ ਪਰਜਾਲੀਐ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥

The Legendary Bhai Surjan Singh. Another LP that used to be played daily in my home when I was growing up. Personally not heard Asa Di Vaar like this since. I wonder if this tune has remained unchanged since Guru Ji's time, one would like to think so.

Unjaan veerji, there's many amazing people in Guru Nanak Dev Jis Panth but they are gupt.

Have not heard this kirtan for a number of years, another classic. Only downside is it's too short.....

Best recording ever!

Giani Gurdev Singh Jee Australia Vaale and Bhai Kuljit Singh Jee Rababi when they were younger. They are singing this shabad in Raag Gauri and Taal Panj Taal Kee Savaari. Though in the 4th Part of this recording they change to TeenTaal. Absolutely amazing!!!!!
