ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਸਾਰੇ ॥
Baṇī gurū gurū hai baṇī vicẖ baṇī amriṯ sāre.
The Word, the Bani is Guru, and Guru is the Bani. Within the Bani, the Ambrosial Nectar is contained.
ਗੁਰੁ ਬਾਣੀ ਕਹੈ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਜਨੁ ਮਾਨੈ ਪਰਤਖਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥੫॥
Gur baṇī kahai sevak jan mānai parṯakẖ gurū nisṯāre. ||5||
If His humble servant believes, and acts according to the Words of the Guru's Bani, then the Guru, in person, emancipates him. ||5||
ਮੁਕਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਜਾਇ ਅੰਧਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
Mukaṯ pā▫ī▫ai sāḏẖsangaṯ binas jā▫e anḏẖār. ||3||
liberation is attained in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, and the darkness of ignorance is dispelled. ||3||
ਜੀਵਨ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਸੋ ਆਖੀਐ ਜਿਸੁ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਜਾਇ ॥੬॥
Jīvan mukaṯ so ākẖī▫ai jis vicẖahu ha▫umai jā▫e. ||6||
He alone is called Jivan-Mukta, liberated while yet alive, from within whom egotism is eradicated. ||6||
Sarab baikunṯẖ mukaṯ mokẖ pā▫e.
Everything is obtained: the heavens, liberation and deliverance,
But how to beg for ultimate or Param mukti
Ordinary Mukti Anand (bliss) only; no consciousness of "I am God" or of duality No
Videh Mukti "I am God" (Sat-Chit-Anand or Knowledge, Power and Bliss) without consciousness of duality No
Jivanmukti "I am God" (Sat-Chit-Anand) with consciousness of duality No
Param Mukti Simultaneously "I am God" (Sat-Chit-Anand) with duality and divinity in action Yes
or
sāyujya, sālokya, sārupya, sāmipya and sārsti. Sāyujya
So there are 4 to 5 types I guess
