Sangat Ji to kindly share views about this KATHA about NAAM SIMRAN

This video is not in accordance with Gurmat.

In the following pangti ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਭਿ ਮਿਟਹਿ ਕਲੇਸ ॥ he is suggesting ones kalesh can be solved through their own understanding and efforts. This is a contradiction because Gurbani says : ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੋਝੀ ਬੂਝ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥
If ones interpretation of Gurbani contradicts a meaning of Gurbani then there interpretation is incorrect. His understanding of Kalesh and Naam Jaap are very creative but it takes a lot of imagination to accept this type of understanding.
Gurbani has to be accepted as true. If we jap naam then all of our kalesh gets removed. Kalesh cant be simply interpreted as things like domestic disputes. Kalesh refers to any problem. He is right naam does not just mean sitting and reciting Gurmantar . But he still does not understand naam.

Naam, Hukum, and Bana mean one and the same thing. When we follow Guru Sahibs this also refers to naam. Guru Sahibs bana is the Hukums in Gurbani which again also refers to naam. IF we do simrat of naam It indirectly means we are following hukums of Guru Sahib. Only by following Guru Sahib can we eradicate our kalesh we cannot do it with our own efforts. Most hukums are in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji but there are Hukums that are faithfully passed down orally such as nitnem bania, panj kakkar and so forth. People that jaap naam without following hukum cannot destroy their kalesh. If we jaap naam, obey hukums, accept his Bana then one will stay free from kalesh and in a state of Chardhi Kala but a person cant be free of kalesh simply “ by finding a solution” what does that even mean. That’s a very vague response. Gursikhs only find solutions within the confines of Gurmat not their own mat.

It is not Katha, it is Koorh Parchaar. If a person has such wrong views, that means he has no Sojhi of Gurmat, does not lead a Gurmat oriented life, hasn't done Sangat of accomplished Gursikhs, hasn't done Naam Simran according to proper Vidhi, and above all, does not have Bharosa on Guru Sahib and Gurmat Naam. This kind of Koorh Parchar is spreading like an epidemic nowadays. We should not believe it at all.

Listening to it feels like an illiterate person delivering scientific lectures to university graduates. In other words, it is complete bull****.

The root causes of kalesh are krodh, agyanta, haumeh, and other aspects of manmatt. The only way to drown these evils, is through Waheguru Simran. Sometimes, some aspects of kalesh can be rectified through compromise. That said, it’s going to be impossible to rectify or compromise kalesh while manmatt is still alive.

The only cure for manmatt, is Gurmat. Focusing the mind on Gurbani, Gur ithihas, keertan, and Waheguru Simran will end kalesh...

There are five types of kalesh, but Only Naam Simran can finish them.




1. avidya – ignorance

2. asmita – egoism

3. raga – attachments

4. dvesa – aversions

5. abhinidvesa – fear

Khalsa Ji,

Maya is created by the creator. Without maya, the game cannot be played out. We, as jeev, fall under the influence of maya. Satguru Ji shows us the way out. Satguru shows his mercy to some, but not to all.

If Satguru gave soji to everyone, then this world would become Sachkhand. If we look at astpadhi number 21, Sri Sukhmani Sahib, we can see how the game is played out.

Waheguru Ji gives some the soji to meet Satguru. When the jeev meets Satguru, he/she receives soji (the path to enlightenment). Others, are not given soji, they do not receive enlightenment. They do not break free. During the time of the ten Patshahin, there were those who saw and met Satguru. But these people harboured enmity towards Satguru. Others, saw nothing but love for Satguru.

When Said Kahn took an oath to capture 10th Patshahi, he immediately fell to Guru Ji’s feet. ‘He is Allah, he is Allah,’ said Khan kept saying. The rest of his army saw Guru Ji as an enemy. Why did Guru Ji reveal his true self to Said Khan, and not others?

If Satguru reveals his true self to everyone, then the game cannot be played out. Astpadhi 21 gives a very good reason...

Yes, absolutely. The following link is the Katha of Muktinama. Maharajh says that by following the teachings in Muktinama, the Sikh becomes Mukt.

Just one more thing, Maharajh says that even if a Sikh achieves kirpa, the Sikh should always remain humble. The Sikh should always be of the opinion that ‘I don’t know anything’.
