O mother, I long to see the Feet of God.

Guru's Shabad (Naam Gurmantr) is Guru Sahib's Charan. Placing Guru Sahib's Shabad in our Hirda is placing Guru Sahib's Charan. If one succeeds in downloading and holding Guru jee's Charan in Hirda, then great miracles and spiritual events occur within such Sikh seeker.

Khalsa Ji,

Charan are Naam. As in Sri Jaap Sahib, we read: Chit charan naam. Charan also means to 'consume'. The term is usually denoted to livestock. Just as livestock on the farm consume the green fodder. Similarly, Naam consumes all pains, sorrows, anxiety, and agyanta etc.

We just need to mediatate on Naam..
