Baba Banda Singh jee Bahadur was the first supreme leader of the Sikhs and he was appointed to this position by Guru Sahib jee Himself. Baba jee uprooted the 800 year old foreign rule from Punjab and established the Khalsa empire for the first time. He was the greatest leader that Sikhs ever had but unfortunately, falling prey to the wrong propaganda by the government of that time, some Sikhs place wrong allegations on him. While its true that Banda Singh Bhadur ji was a Gurmukh and many historians have blemished his name this video over glorifies him and provides incorrect history.
Firstly who can claim he was the only brahmgiani leader of the panth. While alive Guru Sahib gave him a leadership position of a jatha which included around 25~40 Singh's to go to Punjab and eradicate some injustices. He was not leader of the whole panth while guru sahib was present in this world. Secondly no individual can lead the panth he was also accompanied by 5 chosen Sikhs in which the whole jatha was subjugated to.
Baba ji was pivotal in.laying the foundation stone of khalsa raj in punjab but nawab kapoor singh deserves credit for Punjab being a Sikh principality To claim baba ji was the only brahmgiani to lead the panth is unnecessary and is a grave unjustice to gurmukhs like Nawab Kapoor Singh who were jathedar of the panth ( dal khalsa) chosen by the panth and united thd whole panth. He was chosen by guru khalsa panth because of his naam kamae and panthic seva.
