I wonder if it is okay according to Sikhi to donate body organs after death?

Human body is sacred and has even been called Harmandir i.e. house of Lord in Gurbani. This is the main reason why Saabat-Soorat is kept i.e. Sikhs don't cut hair and don't pierce ears or nose. Even after death, the body of a Gursikh is decorated with good Gurmukhi clothes and 5 Kakaars before cremation. I personally don't feel comfortable taking out organs from the body before cremation. I think the body should be cremated Saabat Soorat. I am not sure if this is a Gurmat stance but this is what I believe in.

akal takht has issued a "sandesh" on this issue. sikhs should donate blood and organs because it is a great seva for society, and we do not need our body after death. the body is dust after the soul leaves it. this is why we don't have so many post death rituals as other religions.

If a corpse is anointed with sandalwood oil,

what good does it do?

If a corpse is rolled in manure,

what does it lose from this? ||3||
