Heard two instances from one bhai sahib of Jabalpur, India. May not be word to word-

There is a jeweler on the outskirts of Amritsar by the name of Sohan singh jewelers. The two brothers who run this are extremely gurmukh. They have a nitnem of 25 Japji sahib daily at Shaheed Ganj Sahib. Whoever does this seva stays and the other handles the day's business.

One lady came to their shop, spent good amount of time but didn't buy anything. As she was walking out of the shop, she slipped and somehow received a fatal blow ending up dying. Her husband although fully knowing that it was an accident, complained to police and got the two brothers jailed.

In jail, the younger one started wondering the trouble that had come upon them in spite of doing 25 path seva. The elder one wisely said they'd do 50 paths from that day. They started doing 50 Japjee sahib each day.

Guru Gobind singh sahib appeared in the dream of Bhai Seva Singh ji, of Ram pur khera sahib and asked him to help these two singhs saying these two were constantly doing bhagti and are in prison for no fault of theirs. Bhai Sahib woke up and realized he was helpless and knew no way of helping them out. He did ardaas to Guru Sahib and lied down there and then. In another dream, he saw what exactly had happened.

Bhai Sahib had contacts through which he met the judge of sessions court where the case was being tried. Somehow he managed to convince the judge to lie down, during which he also saw in a dream the truth and came to know the facts of the case. He reasoned well and the two brothers escaped punishment.
When they came to know about this, they asked guru sahib to show to them his darshan as well. They received darshan in a dream.

I think initially Bhai guriqbal singh narrated this to sangat.

Another instance- a non-sikh lady started doing sangat and went to various samagams with gurmukhs. One day while the gurmukhs came to drop her back home, they had to leave for some place in a hurry- so they asked the lady to walk to her house which was only 100 odd meters away and seemed safe passage to them. The place was very recluse. As she started walking, a jeep arrived on the scene with a gang of drunken, rowdy youngsters in it. As the lady saw them approaching, she thought to herself that if anything nasty happened to her that night, people would blame the sangat she used to go to. Somehow she instantly went into ardaas and dhyaan and asked Guru sahib that if she were saved that night she would offer herself to the panth.

As these men approached her, they would try touching but would find their limbs powerless to do so. They tried and at last tried together with full force but fell like nine pins on the ground. The lady walked past them in ardaas and reached home safely. As the will was, another lady who wasn't a very respectable one in the locality was passing by. She had to become the target of these men's rage. This lady was family to the local MLA and the men ended up jailed and convicted.

As the incident was reported in newspapers, the lady who was saved broke down to tears and did Jaap sahib and chaupai sahib all day out of vismaad and achambha. Somehow she went into dhyaan and did ardaas to Guru sahib that she be shown the way. Subsequently, she resolved to meet the men in jail. When asked why they didn't do the act with her when they saw her coming alone, they replied that she wasn't alone. Instead there was a tall man in yellow clothes and a very shiny dagger (kirpan) in his hands. They revealed how their limbs would render powerless as they tried to touch he. She recorded the conversation and revealed the story to her parents who then voluntarily took her to take amrit. She first went received amrit at a samagam and then later receiving jatha sangat, went on to pesh at an amrit sanchar samagam organized by jatha. She married only last month and is said to be a singhni of very high chardi kala. The bhai sahib who attended the program narrated this.

I'd like to continue and write another story that inspired. A bhai sahib who is seen at the local samagams here regularly used to be a scrap dealer. In the market he dealt in, there was a goonda who used to charge a ten percent of goonda tax (GT) on every auction. A fellow sardar sahib went to the goonda and requested him to not tax for a particular transaction. The goonda very arrogantly plucked his pagree from his head and unabashedly hung it on the wall. Repeated pleas did not move him and the goonda ended up mercilessly beating up sardar sahib.

This bhai sahib was a youngster in his 20s and used to work with his father. His father, embarrassed, stopped going to the market and used to do chandi di vaar all day trying to gather courage to face the embarrassment. The young bhai sahib started getting dhukhve hukams from maharaj (he was not amritdhari then) like 'je jeeve pat lathi jaaye, sab haraam jeta kich khaaye'. Bhai sahib did chandi di vaar continuously for days. He had tried requesting the goonda to return the pagree hanging on his wall as it was a question of dignity. He also faced many a blows.

One day when he returned to market, he was participating in a military truck auction for scrap. He deliberately unscrewed a fine iron rod, good six feet long (bhai sahib himself is good six feet four). As the chela of goonda declared the GT to be charged, bhai sahib growled at him his bid saying he won't pay GT. As the news reached the goonda, sitting inside sipping tea with a senior military official- the goonda came back annoyed. As he asked bhai sahib how dare he not pay his GT, he received a solid strike on his head with the six feet sarabloh rod. Only after repeated blows did bhai sahib left him. He was taken into custody by police.

As the will was, the goondas retaliated and hit upon bhai sahib's father who also received a massive blow on his face. A case developed against both sides. The goonda didn't die but laid in a vegetative state for ten more years to follow. Bhai sahib was acquitted soon after but not before spending a month and a half in jail. The goonda died, as said much after all proceedings of case had wound up. Bhai sahib is an amritdhari now, has massive gurbani abhyaas of each day and has an elephant's memory. He has amazing number of baani, raags kanth and he casts these pearls now and again. He is still so beparvaah and is a cold bower in tapdi maaya to many of us.

Anyone who read it full would be having great patience. Have tried to narrate as best to my knowledge but sure these are not the exact and detailed versions.
