ਅਹਰਣਿ ਮਤਿ ਵੇਦੁ ਹਥੀਆਰੁ ॥

I was wondering in the above Pangti is the word mat a Dehli Deepak . Meaning the Gurus ( ved) Mat( understanding/thinking) should be our tools to shape ones thinking.
Usually when reciting I naturally put a pause after ਪਾਹਾਰਾ in the pangti below but this does not seem the case for

ਜਤੁ ਪਾਹਾਰਾ ਧੀਰਜੁ ਸੁਨਿਆਰੁ ॥

but this does not seem the case for the pangti

ਅਹਰਣਿ ਮਤਿ ਵੇਦੁ ਹਥੀਆਰੁ ॥

I do not put a pause after Mat? What does the aunkar under Veyd mean?

As per my meagre understanding, ਮਤਿ is not a Dehli Deepak.

Let the intelligence or ਮਤਿ be the ਅਹਰਣਿ, and ਵੇਦੁ (gyaan, divine knowledge) be the hammer. The goldsmith places the ornament on the ਅਹਰਣਿ (Anvil) and then hammers it to get the desired shape. Let Gyaan i.e. Ved shape the intelligence.

The aunkad of ਵੇਦੁ is there since this is a singular noun. This proves that here, ਵੇਦੁ does not mean the religious scriptures of Hindus that are in total 4.

1) ਲਖ is a Dehli Deepak in the second pankiti because it is an adjective of both "ਪਾਤਾਲਾ ਪਾਤਾਲ" and "ਆਗਾਸਾ ਆਗਾਸ".

2) On the other hand ਗੁਰੁ is a noun and ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ is its adjective. The meaning is Serve the ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਗੁਰੁ who washes (the mind) and drives out all bad qualities. In the light of this, we can safely infer that ਗੁਰੁ is not a Dehli Deepak.

Bhai Sahib I thought that the pangti

ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਸਭਿ ਅਵਗਣ ਕਢੈ ਧੋਇ ॥੨॥

Means:

The Guru is the Giver of Peace;serving the Guru all the bad qualities that lead to pain are washed away?
