We are only owned by Vaheguroo jee. Once we have taken Amrit and given our head to Guroo Sahib, we no longer belong to our families but only to Vaheguroo jee. No one has power over us except for Vaheguroo jee himself, and no one has the right to decide what we can or cannot do except for Vaheguroo jee.

This world is false and so the courts of this world are also false. Authority to make decisions about what is right and wrong lay in the hands of Vaheguroo jee’s gurmukh bhagat jan alone. Who else can see through the falsehood of maya and lead people to the right path?

A lot of the time we hear about manmukh parents who try to stop their gursikh children from following Guroo Sahib’s hukams like sarbloh bibek or amritvela, but who gives them the authority to decide what mukhat Khalsa can or cannot do? A gursikh child is to respect their parents and to do as their parents wish as long as it does not go against gurmat. A gursikh bibeki bhujang fauji should always listen to their real parents, Guroo Sahib, and then their worldly parents. There is no need to fear, if Khalsa jee belongs only to Vaheguroo Jee, then Vaheguroo jee himself will protect sava lakhi Khalsa.

Khalsa jee remain forever vigilant and forever niyara.

Very well said Preetam Singh. Many Gursikhs are stopped from keeping Bibek by their parents. I have personal experience in this matter, and know many singhs whose parents tried stopping them from keeping Bibek and other strict rehats. But who can stop the Khalsa? You can attempt to do so but at the end the Khalsa will always prevail. It is Vaahiguroo Jee Ka Khalsa, the Khalsa belongs to Vaahiguroo, and it is Vaahiguroo Jee Kee Fateh, Vaahiguroo is always victorious, the Khalsa belongs to Vaahiguroo so it is always victorious as well.

Having said that many times it is very difficult for Gursikhs to keep bibek and rehat when they feel so much pressure from parents and other relatives, but we must remember that ਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਨਾਲੇ ॥ Guru Jee is always with us so we should not loose hope. If Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh could keep Sarbloh Bibek in Prison, can't we? What kind of prison are we in? Do our parents tie us up and force feed us non-bibeki food like the doctors did to Bhai Sahib?

So many people these days are willing to go through so many hardships to keep certain types of diets (i.e vegan diet, cabbage-soup diet) to please the world by losing weight. But can't we keep the diet Guru Sahib has blessed us with? We should only look to please Guru Jee:
ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਸੈ ਕੇਰੀ ਬਾਝੁ ਸਚੇ ਨਾਹ ॥
The Khalsa does not care about anything except for Vaahiguroo Jee.

Who ever wants to become Premi Gurmukhs they should not care for what the world says they should follow what Guru Jee says and leave it at that.

When Bibi Sukhdev Kaur jee was confronted with the pressures of her family, and in perserving her gursikhi, she was faced with the following situation:

Her brother drew his sword and despite the protests of their mother, dragged Bibi Sukhdev Kaur into the animals’ yard. He said “Now something is going to happen."

However, Bibi jee fearlessly replied, “You are proud of your sword and I am proud of my Guru. Only that will happen which he approves of.”
