Rehat

Listen to the rehat of the Guru my brothers,
Do not steal and look at the wives of others.
Rise daily while the night still remains,
My Brothers that do that, Amrit flows in their veins.
The 7 Bania you must daily recite,
Then you will see the Guru’s light.
The Panj Kakkars you must always wear,
Being a Sikh of the Guru, you must never swear.
A Kara on your arm, to remind you the Guru is with you,
Wear the Guru`s colours with pride: white, yellow, black and blue.
A Kirpan at your side, to protect the poor and meek,
This is the Guru`s Khalsa, Akaal Purakh Kee Fauj, not just a clique.
A Kanga in your hair, to keep your Kes clean,
So protect and love it, it is fit for a King and Queen.
A Kachhera to remind you of your moral duty,
Do not look at another man or woman`s beauty.
A Keski on your head as your crown,
With the Guru`s hand on your head, in this ocean-world you will not drown.
Avoid the Cardinal sins each and every day,
Fight the 5 thieves, and follow the Guru`s way.
Meat, and intoxicants, stay clear of these,
Dishonouring of hair, and another’s wife or husband,
The Guru has forbidden us from all these.
Eating from the hands of non-devotees,
The Guru has forbidden us to do so.
Practice this rehat my fellow brothers,
See all as your daughters, sisters and mothers.
Then you shall please the Lord.

Veer Ji, what does ਦਰ mean here in ਰਹਿਤ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਦਰ ਚੋਟਾਂ ਖਾਵੈ ॥

Might be wrong, but always thought ਦਰ meant door as in darvaja.

ਦਰ means doors.

ਰਹਿਤ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਦਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਚੋਟਾਂ ਖਾਣੀਆਂ ਪੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਦਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਹੁਵਚਨ ਪਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ ਦਰ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਚੋਟਾਂ ਖਾਣੀਆਂ ਪੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਫੇਰ ਜਣੇ ਖਣੇ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਬਨਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

wHILE ITS true ਦਰ means door in Punjabi I think ਦਰ in the pangti " ਰਹਿਤ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਦਰ ਚੋਟਾਂ ਖਾਵੈ ॥ " take roots in the Farsi word
ਦਰ meaning ( in/within ).

The pangti meaniing those without rehat (ਰਹਿਤ ਬਿਨਾ) get a inner beating (ਦਰ ਚੋਟਾਂ ਖਾਵੈ). Discipline ( rehat) allows one to engage in more naam abhyiaas and thus allowing Panj doot from giving us an inner beating.
