God
When I think of you
All my fear is gone
My pain is relieved
My happiness is driven back
There is no one who can try to stop me From talking to you
I can spill out my world And I will know your there listening
I can’t yet see you I can’t yet touch you
But now All I can yet do Is sit here and remember your words From my heart And no one can stop me,
Let me wake Let me love Let me be Let me reach above And touch the stars And have you in mind All the time ♥

I am not who you think I am
Everyone is unique, Everyone is different, Everyone has rights, Who am I?
I am someone who comes from a family of martyrs, I am someone who, Fights for their religion,
I am someone who thinks back,
And realizes how much it really took, I am a person, too, right?
Then why do you treat me differently, You say,” Why do you wear that thing…” Or “why is it that you don’t….”

I stand up straight, with my head held high, and filled with pride, “Because I am a Sikh”
Fitting In
Everyone wants to be alike,
Everyone wants to be cool,
Everyone wants to have what “they” have
Everyone wants to be like you,
But me,
I stand up for myself,
I want to be unique,
I am who I was meant to be,
I stand up for the rights,
And tell you the wrongs,
What I get,
Is a whole crowd judging on what I do?
Being yourself, is what I call a warrior
A true warrior

Excellent thoughts of love for Vaheguru jee, in form of poetry, Tegh Kaur.

There is Vaheguru, there is Vaheguru's own form - Guru Sahib and there is you. The madding crowd that judges you matters not. Stay Beparvaah!

Vaheguroo!
Thank you so much!
Sikhi is the most important thing to me, I won't let anyone else push me down. Instead, I will grow stronger!
