Heal me, beloved, with your loving touch;
The waves of sickness drown my spirit bright.
Swimming, stumbling, drowning without a crutch
To whom shall I describe my piteous plight?
The world of fire burns defenceless flesh
While icy arrows pierce my broken heart;
Nets of illusion mind and soul enmesh
The life and breath of body doth depart.
In this disheartened state my lover friend,
I cry to you bemoaning my despair.
Who else but you can fix, restore and mend
Unto your mighty head I place my care.
Cure me, kill me, I care not which you choose
Once having found, your love I dare not lose.

You will heal me Beloved, with your loving touch
In this hopeful promise, I do not hold a doubt
But my feeble mind wishes that waiting did not hurt so much
It must be the reward of driving the ailment out
illness racks my being and I feel it will not mend
But in my pain and suffering, I can feel my soul again
The ocean of this evil world came and drowned my soul
Now I feel it shaking like a beggar, clutching for a hold
How I can I live without you, how can I have a day of peace?
Please embrace me my beloved, I sit crying at your feet
The fire of this world is smoldering, it does not ever cease
Only your sweet touch of love can cool the burning heat
Nectar, nectar, the magic elixir of life
I sit at your feet so you can pour it on my head
Your love is the only medicine I need to end my strife
Don't leave me, dear beloved, or I shall shrivel up in bed
Another lonely night will be the end of me
But you will heal me my beloved
How much longer will it be?
