This has been going on for long time now under the pretext of renovation. In last 5 years I have seen how the 6 inch moortis have now become 6 feet mandirs around the darbar sahib premises. On the south end (near DDT shop) it started with photos of Sri Chand now a full fledged mandir is running. On east end (near book shops) there is already Sri Chand akhara. On west end there one mandir. Pakhand is on full swing and is happening with full agreement of SGPC.
