New Years Ardaas From Tihar Jail

Posted by Free Hawara
As many of us living under the influence of the West mark the new year of the Gregorian calendar every January 1st, we are sharing this message from Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara and Bhai Paramjeet Singh Bheora at the beginning of last year, 2015. As the Khalsa marks the new year on the 1st of Chet, this powerful Ardaas (prayer) from two jujharoos locked in Indian prisons takes the opportunity to remind us of our responsibilities to our own qaum and to our sangarsh for complete sovereignty.

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa,
Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

During this new year we come together keeping our minds humble and our intellect high (1); walking the path of I am not good, no one is bad (2); adopting the soch (thought) of Fareed, answer the bad with the good, do not fill your mind with anger (3); forever singing Tell the Beloved the plight of his disciples (4); enshrining Deg-o tegh-o fateh nusrat-i-bedirang, yaft az Nanak Gur Gobind Singh (5) in our hearts and minds; understanding the true meaning of the Khalsa is one who becomes a crusader, the Khalsa is one who does battle daily (6) and incorporating this into our lives to walk the path of the Khalsa Panth, so that in this new year, the living light of Guru Nanak’s ten forms enshrined in Guru Granth Sahib, and the Shaheeds of the Khalsa may be with us to destroy all of our pains, difficulties, and obstacles to bring tranquility and peace to all of our minds.

In this new year, may Sache Patshah (the True King) bestow his grace so that the pure winds touch us, through which once again we can hear the thunder of keertan like that sung by Bhai Sahib Randheer Singh. So that we can challenge the tyranny and oppression of Hindi, Hindu, Hindustan like Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa. So that we can prepare a fauj (army) of Singhs to lead the fight for our qaumi freedom like Bhai Fauja Singh. So that we can find leadership for the Panth like Akali Phoola Singh, rather than someone like Aroor Sio who honoured our killers with siropas or today’s jathedars that ignore Sikh interests and submit to the RSS for their personal benefit.

In this new year, may yodhay (warriors) like General Shubeg Singh, along with true soldiers like Bhai Amrik Singh offer a new direction and inspiration to fight to remove the yolk of slavery from our necks and struggle for the establishment of Khalistan. In this new year, may the guardians in the security forces of the murderers of humanity like Beanta and Indira awaken to become defenders of humanity and Panth dardi (those who feel the pain of the Panth) to walk on the path illuminated by Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh-Satwant Singh and Shaheed Bhai Dilaavar Singh. May the artists sing songs of freedom to once again rejuvenate the memories of Bhagat Singh and Udham Singh. May many more who wield the pen with power, like Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha, Professor Sahib Singh, Sirdar Kapoor Singh take birth.

May the new year bless the pens and mission of genuine Panthic jathedbandis (organizations) with clear thinking and strength to give a mouth-shattering answer to societal ills brought by the darkness of Hindustan; the curse of drugs, corruption and bribery, obscenity, caste, infanticide, and to finally remove the yolk of slavery by achieving the concept of Raj Karega Khalsa through the Giaan (knowledge) of the Guru. May all Sikh parents and children remember and walk the path of Sada Kaur, Mata Bhaago, Daler Kaur, Baghel Kaur, Punjab Kaur, and Harsharan Kaur so that our qaumi future will be bright. May all those children born in the past year enjoy the blessings and presence of Satguru and our Shaheeds throughout their lives so that they can become the hariaaval dasta (bright/young contingent) of the qaum and provide capable leadership in the future.

Today, the main symbol of the Sikh qaum (our beard and kes) are disappearing while the symbols of the foreign creeds, like neck-ties, are spreading in Sikh homes like the hangman’s noose. While great efforts are required to protect our Sikh children from corruption, there is a need for a much greater effort to bring change in the lives of Sikh parents first.

In the end, our Ardaas (prayer) is that the new year bring all Panthic factions and Sikh families into the mala (rosary) of unity and harmony, and that those Singh-Singhneea, imprisoned around the world, be liberated to continue working for the chardikala of the Sikh qaum. May the ਤੜਫ (writhing pain/intense longing) for achieving qaumi azaadi be felt by the Khalsa in both the homeland and abroad, so that the Sikh qaum can live in chardikala as a beautiful example to rest of the world.

May the winds of Punjab, Khalistan bring tranquility and peace to Sikhs living in foreign lands and a message to continue the fight for the freedom of the qaum - this is the desire in our hearts for this new year. May Guru Sahib look after the welfare of all.
