Bir Asan Namastang.

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ke Fateh!

Sangat Ji I hope you can help me shed light on a subject that I am quite ignorant about.

1) What is a Bir Asan Namastang Posture?

2) From what I have read it was bestowed to the Khalsa Panth by Satguru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. Does sangat have any proof of this?

3) Do you or anyone else that you may know use Bir Asan Namastang posture?

4) I have also read this posture is used when reciting Sri Dasam Granth Bani?

which knees is kept down in bir asan right(commitee says)/left (taksal)

Beer asan is adopted while amrit is administered by panj piaras.It is mentioned in sikh rehat maryada.
