Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh.

I have a strong, overwhelming desire to visit India. I have not been in 7 years, and at that time I was not interested in Sikhi.
I want to visit the Gurdware of historical value, walk the ground of the Gurus... you get the idea. However, I am in a really bad financial situation so I do not think I'll be able to think of going for years.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any cheaper Punjab Yatras? What about Delhi? Has anyone been on one, I'd like to know your experiences. Just curious really, one can dream.

Use buses and stay in Gurudwaras.
Going from anywhere to anywhere in modern style Volvo buses with stretchable comfortable seats, AC etc is below Rs 700/.
For example:
Haryana Roadways Volvo Buses from IGI Delhi airport to Chandigarh Sector 17 bus stand, fare Rs 600/
Private Volvo buses from Mohali Phase 3A Petrol Pump to Amritsar, fare approx 700/ (these buses start early in morning 4am, reach Amritsar in 4 hrs).
