i came across this article on a website and was wondering whether or not it is against gurmat to read japjee sahib along side an akhand paat.

i've always been told that it isn't against gurmat because when akhand paat is being read, there shouldn't be anything else going on in the hazooree of guru sahib, even people aspiring to listen to the whole paat do three nitnems after the bhog of the paat. Can someone please shed some light if it isn't, because the article seems to have given quite a bit of proof in regards to why it is gurmat.
