As far as I know, for long Baanis like Siri Oankaar Sahib, Siri Anand Sahib etc. one just needs to do the Pauri of Hukamnama Sahib.

If the Hukamnama Sahib comes from Sidh Gosht, then if the Hukamnama Sahib is an answer Pauri, then the preceding question Pauri too should be read and if the Hukamnama Sahib is a question Pauri, then the subsequent answer Pauri too should be read.

If the Hukamnama Sahib is from a small Baani like Vaar-Satt, then the whole Baani is read.

Bhai Sahib jeo,

how is that hukamnama for Onkaar Shaib is the first pau'rhee only? as the 2nd pau'rhee contains the rahaoo line(ਸੁਣਿ ਪਾਡੇ ਕਿਆ ਲਿਖਹੁ ਜੰਜਾਲਾ ॥ਲਿਖੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ), around which the whole message of the hukamnama revolves around.

The Siri Oankaar Sahib Baani contains 54 Pauris and one Rahao pauri or Two-Pankitis. The Rahao stanza is not part of 2nd Pauri or any other Pauri but is independant of all Pauris and is the central idea of the whole Baani and not one or two Pauris. There is no harm in reading the Rahao Pankiti with the 1st Pauri but it's not a requirement since every Pauri of this Baani is independant of other Pauris as far as the Arth-Vichaar is concerned.

Gurbani is Agam Agaadh Bodh.
