One word answer to your questions "re incarnation - who goes thru it" seems "Manmukh" (goes through it) Further it seems,

When one runs the life's marathon with the cardinals -ਇਹੀਤੇਰਾਅਉਸਰੁਇਹਤੇਰੀਬਾਰ ॥ Eihee Thaeraa Aousar Eih Thaeree Baar || One continues ਕਰਉਜਤਨਜੇਹੋਇਮਿਹਰਵਾਨਾ ॥Karo Jathan Jae Hoe Miharavaanaa || because one's Goroo gets one acrosee - ਬਾਹਪਕੜਿਗੁਰਿਕਾਢਿਆਸੋਈਉਤਰਿਆਪਾਰਿ ॥ Baah Pakarr Gur Kaadtiaa Soee Outhariaa Paar ||3||

Thank you veer jeeo - therefore my understanding - manmukh is one who follows the mind - therefore the mind of a manmukh goes thru it - is this correct?
and
soul - joins back to the almighty where it came from
body - goes back to dust earth.

: The scum (i.e., impurity) of so many births is attached to this mind and it has become pitch black (sggs 651).

: Ih manu sakti ih manu seeou. Ih mnu panj tatt ko jeeou...: (By identifying with Maya) This mind also becomes Maya, (by identifying with God) this mind also becomes God, and (due to misperception, by identifying itself) with the body of the five-elements, this mind is the Jeeva When this mind is restrained (channeled and guided Upward), and remains in the State of Beatitude (Turiya, Enlightenment, etc.), it describes the three worlds. ||33|| (sggs 342).

: Manu chanchal bidh naahee jaanai: The fickle mind does not know the way (sggs 415).

solution and only one :

: Sabadi marai manu nirmal santahu eh poojaa thaai paaee ||5||: By dying in the Shabad, the mind becomes Immaculate. O Sants! Such worship is meaningful ||5||. (sggs 910).

mind goes thru it ? -- come Gursikhe - further vichaars required please.

APeToEU - As per this one's evolving understanding "By dying in the Shabad, the mind becomes Immaculate" it is better to use the word Imbued/drenched/Coloured in GurSbd for "ਸਬਦਿ ਮਰੈ" instead of "By dying in the Shabad" because "ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਲੇ ਜਉ ਉਨਮਨਿ ਰਹੈ ". Mhla 1 clarifies this as Guramukh Naam Japai Man Roorraa ||3|| AnG 415. Guramukh Thribhavan Sojhee Hoee ||) Further Gurkirpa, Wisdom Dawns that turns the understanding Gurmuikh. Panch Bhoo Aathamaa Vas Karehi Thaa Theerathh Karehi Nivaas ||2|| AnG 491, here again ਆਤਮਾ ਵਸਿ doesnt seem to mean control of atama, it likely is dwelling along, companionship - thus "soul - joins back to the almighty where it came from" thus Soul seem not to come or go anywhere. Seeking one gets the company Gurmuikh /Gurcharn/Atma as the absolute blissfulness, Gurkirpa.Sharing to better evolve...in company of GurSnGT
