Call To Recognise Sikh Killings As Genocide

It is nice to see that an Australian MP calls for the Sikh killings of November 1984 to be termed as a genocide and not a riot.

He also compared the events in Delhi to the persecution of the Jews by the Nazis.

genocide is the correct work. I feel even when we speak in punjabi, often we call it Charaasi de Dange. We need to start correctly calling it Charaasi da Ghalukara because that is what it was. Even the attack on operation blue star, we should call it operation blue star massacre or saka neela tara if you are speaking in Punjabi. We need to use such words because when we use these words eventually even non Sikhs will start calling it that.

28 years is long wait for world to acknowledge genocide crime by India...but why has our community only highlighted widow colony and this family's suffering, instead of providing moral etc support jio??
