Could you please let us know which Baanis/Shabads are traditionally read when doing Prakash of Siri Guru Granth Sahib jee at Amritvela. It would be great if views of Mahapurakhs could be posted and also if someone could post exact Shabads or Savaiyaas that are read when doing Prakash at Siri Harmandir Sahib.
The first account of Parksaah of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is recorded in Gurbilas( 6) which mentions the Raagi were perfroming Kirtan and Baba Buddha Ji humbly did Ardas to Sri Guru JI before Parkaash. There is no mention which specific banis are to be recited before Parkaash during AMrit Vela or any other time. Along with Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji, Baba Harnam SIngh Ji ( Rampurkhera) also mentions Mool mantar should be recited along with shabads related to "darshan". Baba Ji states he received this maryada after he got Darshan of Baba Buddha Ji.
The maryada of parkaash evolves around kirtan namely "chaukhee shabad" . The bani to be sung after parkash was traditionally Aarti ( three times a day) and the shabad sung before parskaah differed according to the time of day. During AMrit vela the bani was Asa Di Vaar . These standards are hard to adopt in the 21st century esepcially if one is not a kirtani, but if they are adopted they such people will receive immense blessings.
ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਪਰਭਾਤਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਹੀ ਗਾਵਣਾ ॥ I sing to you during the night, day, and amrit vela.
