Gurdev Mata Gurdev Pita Gurdev Suami Parmeswar

I would like to take this moment to share with you what are the best tips in getting as much naam laha from guru sahib.

1)love Guru as much as possible
bani is guru guru hai bani
-what does this mean?
everything, make bani and you have special relationship. your own Vichaara with bani. everyline in gurbani is wonderful make your own wonderful meanings out of it. as long as its based in pure love you cannot go wrong. anything you can wish and hope for is in guru. Look for it. Guru is POORA complete

never assume you know what a line of bani means. or even think that you do. do not even think you have a grasp of what bani means. try to love it as much as possible. try to increase your love for pure bani as much as possible.
never put limits on what something could mean.. people say it is an OCEAN even to say that limits it.. it is beant and perfect.
that being said it should be read shud as possible.
2)treat guru granth sahib as pargat guru sahib. Fear. respect. Love.
Guru sahib is pargat gura ki deh. Jagdi Jot parget guru. Dhan Dhan Guru sahib Aap haajr hajoor. Listening talking being

3)treat EVERYONE you meet as your superior. be it gur sikh, non religious, athiest. friendenemy anything
4)never show off your sikhi. always keep as much of it inside as possible. there was a story of a guy who everytime he heard kirtan would weep from joy but always had some kind of shawl/chunni type thing and would wipe away the tears, because he did not want other people to feel like guru did not have that same kirpa on them. keep your love for guru INSIDE as much as possible

5) NEVER ever ever ever ever get proud. This is Probabally the highest most important rule. and the strictest. once pride/haumai enters you've basically lost the whole point of sikhi.

6) always look for whatever you want in bani... i might have said this earlier.. but if you have just done something bad, look for forgiveness, look for kirpa, look for things that will make you feel loved.

7)anything you wish for yourself. wish it for everyone else just as much if not more.
example. if you wish to be a saint. you have to wish that everyone else to be a saint. or if you want to be the best kirtani in the world wish that everyone be a world class kirtani.
if you want something because it will make you better/higher than someone else... you have to thiaag that desire
there is no room for lob. greed

8)be as true to guru sahib as possible
never be a hippocrite, never ever think your better/higher/smarter/ anything than anyone else.
do not sell guru sahib out. Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji the most exalted and wonderful thing in this creation. Do not dare make claims about it. Do not speak on behalf of guru sahib. Do not use it as your own personal pride. It its for everyone. It is for the sikh's and Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Khalsa, but you have to remember its much larger than sikhi. God has no religion. Always remember you are utmost lucky just to have darshan of Guru. If you do anything for your own personal gain, fame, power etc. You disrespect all the countless gur sikh's who are 1000000000x greater than you.

9)make as many sacrifices as possible.
do not do ANYTHING for the love of people. its all birtha

life is a game, collect as much naam and amrit as possible and avoid the dhhoot's who will looot you.

10)aap gavaae seva kare ta kish paye maan

if you want personal glory do not do sikhi.
we know true gur sikh, there more like some of our bibea/granpas/parents that have so many of those values. sikhi is for people back in the villages who know what being nimaan is actually about. they truly are gur sikhs and they prolly don't know it...

waheguru ji ka khalsa
waheguru ji ke fateh
