2 years have now passed since Bhai Jagtar Singh jee of Toronto left this karam bhoomi. Their jeevan inspires daas in many ways.
They got into Sikhi by reading jeevan of Sant Karam Singh jee Hoti Mardan and Jail Chittian - Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh jee's autobiography, later on took amrit from Jatha. From then on they were very strict in Rehit and inspired many others to keep Rehit. Reading about their jeevan it is clear they had a strong amritvela, strict rehit and they had kamai of naam. Further to this they had good knowledge of Gurbani and taught santhiya to other Gursikhs. Such Gursikhs are rare. I can only imagine what it must have been like to do sangat of such a Gursikh.
Daas has benti for sangat to share more memories of Bhai Jagtar Singh jee. Bhai Kulbir Singh jee I believe you still have to write about how bhai sahib helped you in obtaining a job. Also can anyone share which other Gursikhs bhai Jagtar Singh jee respected outside of Jatha? Also did they ever meet subedar Baghel Singh jee since they also resided in Toronto.
